now apple is loosing its ground slowly. now samsung is in top after gs2. but nokia is now out on its crown, but slowly overtake after wp reliese! In mobile world steel nokia is the best!

The pureview 808 is readily available in Nairobi. Could always get you one. Selling for KSH 52,000 . Everyone has a choice on the phone they want to buy. Just dont bash brands that you dont like. The camera in this phone does it for me.

asaa, 05 Jul 2012why worrying if symbian is dead? your phone wont stop working even the OS is dead.You're absolutely right. Your PV 808 will still be working even if Symbian is presumably dead in 2016. Just press the Power button, and you're PV 808 will be working in 2016..!
From now on to 2016 you'll be a lucky guy to enjoy what 808 are capable of offering all you need from a smartphone.
Maybe in 2016 you will be having some othe phones. Enjoy your life now.

I had N8 and now i have this amazing 808. Phone rocks...its image quality of course has been accepted worldwide as the best in field. Comparing with my previous experience with n8, improvements are apparent. Speeds have improved, apps have been tweaked to suit more purposes and there are many many apps available in store. Dont worry, a mormal user will find his requirements.
I had a question too...has anyone tried running google maps on this device. On n8 it ran perfect, its not opening here after installation. any suggestions??

OMAR, 05 Jul 2012Very Nice but too much costely.Wait for a while Omar, the price of PV 808 will get stable and cheaper within a year or maybe less.
Or maybe a second hand PV 808 that is still slick is also considerable to save money.
Hope you'll eventually be able to enjoy this great smartphone and also it's 41 MP amazing camera with a reasonable & fair deal. Good luck.

Oh, It s old!!!! but not outdated. Go out and use all 4 OS and then tell us which one is feature packed and the easiest. I did and by far Symbian and Android are are up front. Android beats Symbian for its speed and full flash function. Now if Iphone begins to design OS that includes many of the features these two posses then they can make the list but for now IOS is the cheapest most outdated, worst.

I don't know why people say it is dying. Maybe is true, cause nobody seams to pay those apps, and the market is tired to work for free. You think somebody will abandon symbian market if his/hers/their apps will be bought? Anyway, if this phone would be more market, the word on street would be more about it. But nokia seems like it's just trying to kill it self. In Germany i cannot find it only on amazon. I don't know what is this, but it's not marketing that's for shure.
