Stelio88, 16 Mar 2023Does 808 have offline gps map that can work without internet or mobile service, just satellite?Yes, there is an app called Maps Now, which downloads the latest version of the maps for Nokia Maps. Keep in mind though that they are probably outdated, since the original Nokia service shut down around 2015. Type "Maps Now Symbian" in google and you should find the webpage where you can download it. There is also a guide there. Good luck!

Does anyone know of a site where you can download mods for the 808? I used to go to n8fanclub but the links are offline. I'm tired of looking and I can't find anything. I have the Sis store application but it has few mods.

Try going open source or search forums like all about symbian or so. They have working solutions for instant messengers, email, etc. Those may work.

Telegram might work through Jabber, or something. A BASS Team has created an implementation of Telegram for Symbian on Github.
Some java based facebook messenger works for Symbian, but I'm not sure how safe it is.
Rest you're on your own. Even in the above methods, you have to be an intermediate user who knows stuff.

No one beat Nokia 808 PureView in terms of Photo Quality i have so many flagship phones like S21 Ultra note 20 Ultra Iphone 11 iphone Xs but really no one can catchup the Nokia 808 PureView, im still surprised how mobile company make us fools

No modern mobile phone is comparable with Nokia 808. Especially the camera.
Only camera.

All great cameras, but the prime lens on the n* was great plus it had rolling nd filter.

Well, I just learned about this phone today. I must say I was very impressed. These pictures are amazing, and the best thing about them is their natural processing, they lack that awful oversharpening that is common on many modern smartphones. What went wrong? If Nokia could bring such amazing quality 10 years ago and now there are very few smartphones capable of such beautiful, detailed and natural looking pictures, flagships included.

it would be great if someone could port the PureView camera app to android phones
my aunt still own this phone and still kicking. just need 4g support.. but the cameras are so good compared to android phones nowadays with large amount of megapixels🤭🤭 how embarassing.
