Do you experienced purple tint on your screen mine got something violet while i watching movie instead color is gray will become purple color, and if you low the brigthness purple tint change to dark brown,
Is this normal?

The processor is more than enough to run only the OS. The video and image processing is running on a dedicated processor, thus making it very potent processorwise.

Sorry Nokia, but 180 ppi pixels screen resolution with single core and 512 RAM can never never never...... competed in todays smartphone / camera world.

It doesn't matter how many clocks the cpu churns out or the cores it has, all that matter is how much useful things it can do with that many clocks!! Symbian is an excellent OS coded from scratch to run on moblie phone chips that runs on a nominal 100 MHz or even less.So a 1.3 Ghz chip is a performance heaven for symbian. Only android,windows and IOS phones need Gigs of cpu clocks and 2 to 4 cores to achieve that performance. Why???
Because they all run stripped down versions of full size DESKTOP and SERVER operating systems (Linux, Windows and Apple Mac OS respectively)!!!

Why there is no battery test for Nokia pureview?according to engadget review the performance of the battery is great ,the only complain was symbian,quote: "Symbian is ready for retirement. It's had its run, and while there's still plenty of clever ways to augment what it can do, why go through the hassle? "

Yes,
definitely Nokia 808 pv and N9 have the same fate......
i.e quick Rise and quick Falls due to its dying OS.

i must admit.......to my point of interest......nokia is the best and always will be.......even with symbian which i am ok with.......i have been using the n8 for like 11 months and it is beta than it was when i just bought it now runnin cfw belle......but to me a successor to the n8 should have been of the same build quality.......aluminum body......4.0 screen.....1.5ghz single core processor.....memory wise its ok.....nfc and stuff like that.......to me it could have been the same shape i wouldnt mind.......but props to the 808.....BIG UP NOKIA!!!! i aint lettin u go......

If display density is above of about 220 dpi.. this would have been the ultimate phone.. 184dpi is too low quality for such a phone
