n8 user, 17 Jun 2012Only 512 mb ram bakwas. who want 41 mp camera. very lagy. nokia going down and down. they have... moreyou know, if you don't like it, then don't buy it...but other people who want it have the right to like it....why not respect that right. Ok? The world does not revolve around your standards.

AnonD-59605, 18 Jun 2012Other Option.. NOKIA Lumia 800 Is The Best.. U Can Buy it. NOKIA 808 PureView's OS is OKThis phone is really amazing and also Nokia Belle OS is really better than the past OS made by Nokia ! Plus it still has adobe flash lite and HTML 5 in the browser!

1.How ... moreFor #2, Nokia is selling a separate case to protect the camera..
For #3, Yes, front camera is there.. Since it is a corning gorilla glass, it is hided...But front camera is there..

im an android fan.i use a xperia s.my previous devices where xperia mini and nokia 5800.my elder brother bought this phone on saturday.so i want to clear a few misconceptions.
1.screen resolution is low.agreed its low but its more vivid, bright with good colour reproduction.compared to s.
2.its symbian.its not as snappy as xperia s,but its close enough.
3.u.i is really good transition is nice.
4.almost all important apps one use is there like skype,whatsapp,nimbuzz,foursquare ill tell more about apps later.
5.built is sturdy the phone is bit heavy.
6.camera.one word amazing.xperia s dont stand a chance there is lot of setting to play along with capture is fast also liked video recording and single finger zoom.
7.the audio quality through headphone is out of world.its like a movie theatre.
Ill post more details incoming days one day is not enough to explore the device especially camera.

Hi all,
I am going to buy 808 but before buying this phone , I have few questions
1.How about battery life on Camera mode and in video mode.. Will it drain quickly with few shots ?
2.Is there any case to protect camera and the phone.As I have found in the accessories only camera case is only available in nokia store.
3. In most of the 808 pictures I have seen that there is no front camera in it. But in specification they mentioned that there is a secondary camera.Is there front camera in 808 ?

AnonD-51869, 18 Jun 2012already did soft reset now am trying hard resetnever try hard reset. It will format ur mass memory and inbuilt applications that can not be install by yourself. That needs flash at nokia care...

AnonD-5465, 18 Jun 2012try using slideAnswer v3 , am sorry that u have this problem , hope to be solved soonlast thing i wanted to know is whether your 808 proximity sensor has a tinted glass or like n8 a small transparent circle is left for the sensor,,,, i have tinted glass, proximity sensor only shows wen a dim red light comes wen am on call but nothing happens,,,,,,did soft reset and know planning for hard reset. i have to lock the fone after pickin up the call.

dont know and even i dont care to know what all jealose samsung and android users are speaking here..well what i can say that this nokia 808 pureview just recently launched in India,my elder brother just bought it after my all request as he is a android fan so from that time he started hating nokia belle, so he bought in home and after investigating throughout the entire pureview he said that he is impressed alot & at last he got a smartphone that he is proud of, the stud design, the ultra 41megapixel camera, the flash was twice bright than any other flashes used in smartphones, the 6 homescreens, better navigation, the video can record 1080p,loseless zooming and an awsome audio clearity can record upto 162db which is a record, and dolby digital intregated:) he loved the Nokia OS, as it was smooth,simple,fast and much customisable. I downloaded him the 'nokia sleeping screen' from the 'nokia store' and now he can watch movies at night. Thanks to Nokia. & trust me guys dont waste your expensive money on buying that humanoid samsung galaxy S3, the 808 will worth your money. Believe it.
