some facts,,,pixel story
apple i phone 4s(8mp) and 808(38mp) has per pixel size of 1.4 microns n8 have 1.75 microns canon power shot g12(cost =35000 inr and 19mp) has 2.70 microns canon eos 60d slr(cost=90,000inr and 18 mp) has 4.30 microns canon eos 1d mark3 (cost=224000inr and 10.1mp) has 7.20 microns now pureview 808 at 8mp mode has 3.17 micron and at 5 mp mode it has 4.01 microns 2mp is enough 4 printing a 6 x 4 inch photo(around 300 dpi) 5mp =13 x10 so i think 808 is a mobile which is worth to buy ,although cant compare it with dslr but can compare it with each and every phones (((dslr have the power advantage of having an optical zoom,pureview zoom is good but the size of the microns decreases as u zoom in till it reaches 1.4microns))))

this is a must-read article for everyone. the 9 things contributing to symbian's death
1.THE f... nHD resolution(symbian was stuck like this since 2008)
2.Fixed focus cameras (in the past 2 years only 2 phones carried autofocus N8 and 808)
3.DOUBLE A (basicly the first a stands for apps which very few have been supplying. the second a is for animations, and yes I feel that my nokia 700 has a dry os)
4.S40 (not that s40 devices have taken away some light from symbian, but the s40 apps are for some reason in the store, people think that symbian can't handle quality apps which is the opposite
5. Android (it took away its top spot)
6.iOS (iOS has been the second choice after android)
7. windows phone(it isn't better than symbian but nokia are caring for it cuz ppl think it is good
8.S60 (ppl who used S60 think belle is the same so the head off to other OSes)
9. the lack of evolution(android changed form single core to dual so did iOS BUT symbian stayed on single core and 256 RAM

linto, 05 Jun 2012is it 41 megapixals Correction - it's 41 MEGA pixels. Yes if you read the pureview whitepaper it really does have 41MP, but you can only take maximum 38MP photos, and by default a few pixels are combined to make "super pixels" and output 5MP photos.

guddu, 05 Jun 2012budget is not factor. i wanna buy either nokia808 or galaxy S3, which one will be the best in ... moreget both. 808 for super multimedia and sosial network experiance.. s3 for gaming ang internet browsing...
or you can get 808 and lumia 900.. best tag team right now..
