well it still doubt , even camera professional brand canon , nikon didnt release or manufacture 41 MP camera , nokia put that on hand set , it look and heard like chinease brand , and un top i gurrenty weither its so called 41 MP but it cant compare its quality 7 MP of canon's

I'd say d fact that u can hav a fone that can do better and deliver clearer pictures than some cameras' is a plus. Besides what's d purpose of packing a camera, a music player, a radio, a laptop, etc out in a bag, when u can jus hav it all in ur pocket. They are makin big bucks quick while also givin u somthing worth ur big bucks. Besides that's what all phone companies strive to do.

OK! Nokia 808 41MP camera is currently the greatest but what about phone speciality on quad cores CPU, retina display screen resolution and 1GB DDR3 RAM. .......the basic specifications for most high end smart phone in 2012

I think NOKIA have no good designers. I am also a Engineer if Nokia will hire me then i will design much better then this set. I am totally disappointed form Nokia mobiles.
NOKIA what you are doing ? Take corrective action to improve your designs otherwise your company loose everything.

Please research more, look for pictures (evidences) and please do understand those article so you won't look pathetic trolling here without enough evidences...

I just read all about 41MP sensor on nokia and pureview tecnology, and i must say im impressed!!
Point of 41MP is not in number of pixels, bcause it is best to set camera on 5MP photo (it is perfect size for photo), but point is adventages of large sensor! With so many pixels, if you take a photo in 5MP mode, you have perfect losseless digital zoom up to 3X, or if you dont use zoom, you get a lot sharper 5MP image bcause of pixels oversampling tecnology (e.g.software takes 5 pixels and create 1 superpixel out of it!).
I also found some photo examples on net, im also impressed!
So, to all: please read about this tecnology bfore you put your comments here! Even in Nokia they said its not a metter of quantity of pixels, but in quality of photos and adventages you have with losseless digital zoom and other software tricks!!
BRAVO NOKIA, great job!
(but sorry, i have SE Xperia pro phone. I will consider buying this pureview when you put some better OS than symbian)

I am not a nokia fan (SG Note) but i think its great to see a manufacturer trying something different to the usual (8MP in this case).
However i do think the rest of the phones specs are a bit under par.
The screen resolution, HSDPA speed and CPU dont cut it. They are 2 years behind the current phones.
Lift these specs and include this camera and it would be a hot item nokia.

One question about Charging possibilities. Does Nokia 808 have an 2mm Charging connector in addition to the micro-usb-charging ?

41 mega pixels = totally uneccessary. Nokia are just trying to make a point. In a camera, after 5-8mp megapixels do NOT relate directly to the quality of the photo.

they use what is called pureview
high end cameras use this
its overlaping to get a really sharp photo and really detailed
read about it
say you are shooting in 8 megs
it takes the other pixels
combines it
in to one meggapixel, overlayers and the result is one sharp detailed photo, it is used in highend dslr...

Tell me just one case when Nokia's flagship camera phones didn't performed well. The 41 MP is absolutely real. Do some search and check the photos done by 808 then speak abt it..
