high end cameras use this
its overlaping to get a really sharp photo and really detailed

say you are shooting in 8 megs
it takes the other pixels
combines it
in to one meggapixel, overlayers and the result is one sharp detailed photo, it is used in highend dslr...

Tell me just one case when Nokia's flagship camera phones didn't performed well. The 41 MP is absolutely real. Do some search and check the photos done by 808 then speak abt it..

Seriously a phone with 41 MP camera!!!! there is no camera with such pixels....How is that possible on a phone....Is nokia going nuts or following some weird Chinese Brands which sometimes write 20MP on a VGA camera!! :)

7152 x 5368 = 38 391 936 pixel which is 38,4 MP
3264 x 2448 = 7 990 272 pixel which is 7,99 MP
actually only the sensor has 41 MP. the biggest resolution is 38 MP. just inform yourself.
what you need to know is that side length and area are not proportional but rather squared, because you multiply the sides. better listen in school next time.

They copy others' innovation but they do it bet... moreYou've got it all wrong Symbian does most of the innovating others like Android are based almost entirely on it and its brother Meego/Meemo (The only OS Symbian copies things from). Apple recently copied 90% of Symbian's security system for "Gatekeeper" in OSX Mountain Lion.

If this was release way back in 2010, this phone is a big competitor of Iphone 4. believe me, nokia will still number 1, if they release this before and folowed with dual core in 2011, then quadcore in 2012 and a big ecosystem!
