Is it true that nokia has put a 48 mp sensor in the lumia pureview??? I did not even know that nokia has made a lumia version of the pureview!!! :-o Y is nokia soooo obsessed with windows fone?? Whichever nokia fone u see nowadays is a windows fone!! Dont they understand that developing wp7 wont get them anywhere !! Nokia should develop symbian and meego instead of windows. I have been using an n9 for over a month now and i think its an awsome fone!! The single core 1ghz processor is so fast that it can outdo many of the galaxy smartfones!! And nokia belle is just great!! It's so simple to use and it looks just gr8 in hand !! Whereas windows fone is not at all good. There are just some monotonous tiles in the homescreen which make it look quite dull !! Nokia........ Plz take up meego amd symbian, its your path for salvation!! ;-p :-D

This is the first time I hear an "expert" that tested the camera and jumped to this conclusions. The camera of 808 is 41MP and that's a fact, you can't change it. What do you mean 2x better and not 5x better? By reading your comment everyone will understand that you know nothing abt cameras. So, get lost and show your ignorance elsewhere cause no 1 is going to believe you here...

btw i locked at my arc s phone ( 8mp ) and compared the camera specs and i saw this phones camera is only 2 times better not 5 times better. i was a little sad because it wasn't really a 41 mp camera its only around 20

Anonymous, 30 Apr 2012Great camera but why symbian. Nokia will rock if it signs android.nokia will never sign up with android.The camera is great, this will be a great replacement for my N8. I've looked at a lot of android phones but none of them come close in terms of camera specs(which is a very bi deal for me).

after seeing the specifications, it seems it doesn't have gpu ( graphics processing unit ) which is a massive problem bcoz the nokia 701 have gpu processor which is 250 mhz and 128 mb graphics ram which is quite outstanding and bcoz of that it enables playing heavy games and clearity in high resolution videos. But nokia 808 being a powerful camera phone it is really suprising. I seriously doubt its performance

advice, 02 May 2012if u check gsmarena endurance rating test which shows how long the battery can last with a sin... moreBecause they use very big batteries, for ex. the Note, but try to compare phones with similar hardware, just to see OS performance!

cynthiape, 02 May 2012sorry kid this is not like your android power hungry OS,,,this is the power of Nokia Belle OS ... moreif u check gsmarena endurance rating test which shows how long the battery can last with a single charge u will notice that the top places are for android and ios and not for symbian ,although nokia uses a smaller rams and slower processors which should had made nokia batteries last longer but alas that is not the case.

[deleted post]grow up kid,no need to use dirty wards because they will only reflect your origin and how u were raised ,for me I am using android now but I know excatly how symbian os performs even the so called belle,some of my friends are fan boys for nokia and never used any other os so they give their phones to upgrade them to newer symbian version,and I can confirm this :symbian is great but is no match for android.
if nokia keeps using only symbian and windows phone ,nokia soon will be only a history like what happened to palm.

Nokia N8 has a 1200 mAh battery and its battery life is fine, so 1400 mAh will be ok... You will be able to take as many pictures as you want without being worried abt the battery... The 41 MP camera doesn't consume a lot more battery than the 12MP camera of N8.
And Nokia didn't lose its nr.1 position because of using symbian but because of the transition to WP. Elop's declarations that Symbian has no future caused an immediate drop in symbian devices sales. Also, not promoting N9 and not using Meego in other devices was one of the reasons for losing its position... But in Q2 things will be better for Nokia with their 2 flagships, Lumia 900 and 808 Pureview, so they will probably gain again their position and lose it again when Sgs3 and iPhone 5 will be released in Q3. In 2013 all will depend in how good will be the WP8 OS.
