Windows phone and the new Blackberry O/S are the future because thats how things go in cycles..
About 9 years ago windows ,symbian,BB,Palm were the O/S..Then they start to get overtaken by newer O/S..In a few years IOS and Android will start to get stale whereas the newer fresher O/S will then takeover its natural progression..My biggest thing is apple starting to fall out of favour due to it closed wall system and cost.This is already happening thank god.

I love the design of 808 its typical Nokia wacky styling..Folk complain about it been thick are deluded they want everything in a slim shell with good radios and battery life and it aint going to happen yet,if ever.

guys, nokia lost his no 1 position for his stupid decision. still now nokia using stupid symbian os for there phones. Just think in nokia 808 phone which have a great camera but dispaly density is only 184 ppi?? are you mad nokia? And other thing is in nokia 808 model using only 1400mAh battery? hahahah. after taking 10 to 20 shots, phone will display low battery. Nokia trying to fool some peoples but this is not the right way. Please grow up nokia and first you have to do discontinue symbian os otherwise you will be history within 2 to 3 years.

i'll buy dis phone and i really2 love symbian coz it make my life easier.no need for android.it suck!my first nokia is n gage and this will be 9th of my nokia collection.

[deleted post]Tested Nokia Belle on Nokia 701. Smooth and snappy on that 1GHz processor. Using Nokia SU-8W was a breeze, no software installation needed. Browser result : 109/500 in html5test . com Android 2.3.6 is 189/500, so Belle not too shabby. Belle FP1 is reportedly 236/500.
I like it. If anything, it's a positive experience. Looking forward to Nokia 808 Nokia Belle FP1!

nokia put a lot of effort into producing such a piece of hardware. It is just awsome!! :-D this monstrous 41 mp sensor is just gr8. One thing can be assured, nokia has put an end to the megapixel race and i think that no other company will be able to match up to this high resolution, not even htc!! Earlier there was a hype for camera fones among various companies that who will release the 8mp fone, who will release the 12mp fone and who will release the 16mp fone??!!!! But now by releasing this, nokia finally put an end to the megapixel race. And one more thing, nokia did a great job by putting optical zoom instead of digital zoom coz digi zoom is kind of suckish!! Waiting for this fone !! ;-D

It's now May 2 and still no word from Nokia regarding release of N808. Just hoping Nokia will start coming out with some news on its availability and price.

i think the camera is very good in this phone..nice phone ...thats nice to have a nice camera.. we need a good camera in a phone HD quality ok..and the storage should be very higher..plz see this and give us a very nice one..thanks

Anonymous, 30 Apr 2012Great camera but why symbian. Nokia will rock if it signs android.u hav a point there by saying that nokia should take over with android. But whats the use of taking up a software which has lost its originality!! :-/ android was once a patent signed between google and samsung, but now wherever i look, companies have made android as their main OS!! Htc, lg and many such companies have taken up android so i feel the originality has been lost. Nokia belle is a unique and one n only software featured by nokia. And one more thing, android suxx, only the apps on the play store (or android market as formerly known) are good so u shud correct your statement by saying that nokia shud release apps similiar to those on the play store!! And u knw that war between nokia phonebearers and samsung phonebearers will rage on!! ;-p

why nokia? you've lost your position as the number 1 phone manufacturer only because of stupid decisions ,u are still using the outdated symbian os ,yes you are trying to fool some people by hiding the name symbian and using nokia anna and belle but the truth is it is still symbian,and another stupid decision by nokia is to go for windows phone instead the much much better and successful android os,and due to this decision samsung now is the world number one phone manufacturer after 14 years of nokia dominance ,i feel very sorry for the nokia 808 great camera ,nokia can earn fortune from that camera if the phone is running android os.

i think this fone is no less than 31k (INR). Seeing what all features u r getting with this fone its actually worth it :-) have been waiting for this fone since my n8 got wrecked in an accident! Awsom fone
