just silently listening ... moreKinda sad to see people ranting and raving about smartphones' capabilities when they don't have the intellect to make the most out of their smartphones. Happened a lot of times already where I used a Galaxy S and showed it to be better than a Galaxy S2. Why? Because the person at the other end was better off with only a feature phone, or a dumb phone.
Care to share some thoughts? Lol... I'm treating this discussion board like some online forum already.

More features? I hope so! WiFi Direct with network drive mapping and exFAT/NTFS support look delicious. Battery life? Wait for GSMArena to make a stress test on this one first.

It is not a top-end smartphone, but a high-end one. Take its feature set, and have someone who can actually make the most out of it. Only then will you see that only high-end droids (with the right user, of course) will be able to compete with this.

Why do you guys hate PureView?. It is not a top end smartphone. Dont compare it to dual core or quad core androids. Based on camera performance no point and shoot can beat it. So this is a 10k phone and a 20k camera. Which 10k phone has a 4" CBD AMOLED display? You guys just compare based on specs. Take price into consideration too.

but i think this is really bulky b... moreA little bulky, yeah... But if you will get this phone, prepare a budget of more or less Php30,000. Also, I recommend that you also buy the hard case with a lens cover. :)
Philippines? According to Nokia, it is expected to be released here by late Q2 or early Q3... Which means around June, soonest. If they will release it in UK or Middle East (those are usually the first to receive the latest models) early May (which I very much hope for), then expect a delay of 1-2months for it to be released here in the Philippines.
But for sure, there will no longer be untrue news about a certain high-ranking government official becoming the first Filipino owner of the 808 PureView here in the Philippines.

Why is it not a phone? It can make calls, unless you forgot (or don't know the definition of a phone).
And what is your basis for your opinion on its display and CPU? Have you actually tried it yourself?
Do you even know what "Megapixel" means? 7152 x 5368 is 16MP.. SIXTEEN? That resolution and you only get SIXTEEN MILLION PIXELS??? What, did you fail 2nd grade or something? My grade 1 cousin can compute megapixels with a calculator better than you. Don't tell me you don't know how to use one. Your PC has one. Learn to use it.
It captures 38/34MP photos, if you even understand that.
Yeah, go buy yourself an SLR from Canon/Nikon and a Samsung phone, then good luck trying to STUFF THEM IN YOUR POCKET. You'll also be spending a lot of $$$.

is this phone ? no it is camera ,thats what this phone is ! we have real 25 megapixel recently announced by cannon and noia has 41 mega pixel :D hey blind followers of nokia 8 mega pixel has 3XXX , 2XXX , this phone has 7XXX , 5XXX u know what is mean ?
this phone has 16 mega pixel in real world , but in nokia world sure it has 100 mega pixel !!
and even if it has 41 mega pixel camera in hell , u wanna camera !? get and buy great cannon or NIKON

I am going to check out this...because the very expensive profi camera's are reaching that number of 41 MB. ( Hasselblad...Mamyia etc..Price over 20.000 euros...hahahaha!
