all nokia need to do is bring this phone on WP7. the we would have the perfect phone in every way. but sadly, this probably wont happen. so we will just put up with an amazing phone on a naff OS. shame nokia.

Anonymous, 18 Mar 2012sadly.. like you're saying "pure jealousy"!But if this device really lives up to (or even exceeds) the hype in real and official reviews, then whatever is on the "Voting Results" page will almost always be ignored.
2100+ comments for nokia 808!
more than all comments for Android devices together!!!
it would be a great success if nokia could launch nokia 808 pureview on some practical live platform OS ( not on dying symbian/meego platform OS) with wi-fi direct and hotspot facility, Xvid and DivX video player + stronger battery to last atleast 9 to 10 hours 3G talk time.
I think this model will only for dream but not for in reality. Either its rumour...i dont want to waste money for such a....
Really ? ARM 11 ?
That's the most commercial rubbish I ever seen on market these days.
Why using this lame hardware and tiny display with this beautiful camera specs ?
Greedy producers, again...
Nokia should be aware that by doing that - will lose again the phone battle by a large margin.
If the buyers should be interested only by camera specs and not the phone himself - they would buy a DSLR camera and not that silly phone :)
Jin kazama, 17 Mar 2012makes sense tht 300ppi wud luk gud only on a display larger than 4" , anywys only after 8... moreYour ignorance is showing... Q2 2012. Rumor listed April 23, 2012 @ Mobilefun Online Store, pre-order. As per Dinning, May 2012.
Some people really got it in for this super top of the range camphone..Voting Scores are going down fast through pure jealousy..

P.S. I have the N8 and my next is definately the 808!!
I really hope Nokia will release Lumia version of this phone very soon. How about adding 41 mp + xenon flash into the upcoming Lumia 900, for instance :)
sehwag44, 17 Mar 2012It is displaying that 8,5 & 2mp but our in N8 is 12mp but except zoom........
what is the... moreIt is actually 8,5 and 3MP. N8 has a 12MP sensor. This one has a 41MP sensor. This can capture It can capture 38MP (4:3) and 34MP (16:9) photos. The N8 captures 4:3 at 12MP, but only 8MP when capturing 16:9 photos. 16:9 is the widescreen format. If you want a widescreen 12MP, you will have to resample the full-res photos yourself on the PC. It is actually very easy.
In terms of video, N8 records at 720p, while the 808 records at 1080p. Hope this helps. My advice is to get this instead of the N8 if you are confused between the two. Sure, this is more expensive than the N8, but this looks like a far better device than the N8. Still, wait for reviews so you can be absolutely sure. :)

what is the difference between both 808 and N8 in camera function mode.....?
makes sense tht 300ppi wud luk gud only on a display larger than 4" , anywys only after 808 is released we cn comment how exactly it is performing. btw wen is nokia releasing this device
Jin Kazama, 17 Mar 2012i agree to make pics look betr u need a high res camera, but what if hi-res pics are transferr... moreIt would definitely look better at 300ppi. But considering the screen size, Pixel density will not be very important because most will not be able to make up finer details in the photos, especially when the photo has a lot of detail in it. The most important thing is that the quality of the display is good as to not distort the photo. Photos are best viewed in full and not cropped/zoomed in; unless of course if you intend to crop it that way.
2011: is the year of dual core processor smart fones(double the speed of single core).
2012: should be the year of super battery smart fones
without super battery even the great quad core smart fones would be a failured.
sometime,U cannot even ignored the great works of "Mugen extended batteries"
currently made online available for several smart fones world wide.
