symbian is a nice Os,my SGS2 just got ICS and now dual core Is not enough,the Phone went lagging and really slow and funniest part Is that I cannot se any differens from Gingerbread except face unlock and other small thing,It could definately not have Purewiev on that with 4x and looseless zoom,android just need quad core to run smotly ICS and after that,no need for symbian to have dual core,thats powerful Os.

I am not a fan of using widgets, or putting shortcuts in the homescreen unless I use them very often because they take up resources and add to the battery consumption.
I also think the best is Symbian. Sure, it is not as easy to use as iOS, but when it comes to optimizations and feature sets, I prefer what Symbian offers. Multitasking? I started doing that with my 7650, my first smartphone. Specs are important, but what matters more is how well they actually perform in real life. I didn't like WP7, and would probably give WP8 a chance, but if it is as limiting as WP7, then I would rather go for Android for its feature set if they will be abandoning Symbian.
Still I would prefer Symbian. More organized, optimized for less battery consumption, with an excellent feature set and it is the one that doesn't have much problems with fragmentation. Most apps are compatible across the higher OS versions (S60v3 and up). I am even using some apps for N8 in my N73. Now that is cool. :)

Sure, there are those that won't be interested, but for those who prefer phones with that kind of feature set (just like me), then this phone is definitely one to get. But if price is the problem, Nokia's prices go down easily. Just wait a few months.
Nokia.. they should've stuck with Symbian. WP is a bad choice.
Sony Ericsson, I have no opinion on them, haven't tried their phones.
Motorola might have a future, seeing as they are close with Android right now, but who knows?
Samasung makes good spec sheets TBH, but feature pack and overall performance feels a bit lacking, and their designs don't feel so unique.
HTC.. expensive. IMO, I would go for Samsung than HTC.
Apple makes fast phones and they are very easy to use, but with all those limitations and limited feature sets? No, thanks.

Sharjeel Khan, 22 Mar 2012This Phone is wonderful i think nokia should increase the processor and should use Android OS ... moreif nokia used android, then they would be obligated to put a more powerful processor in order to deal with the camera and that OS. symbian is more reliable, and requires less resources in order to work. start using the new os belle, and see the differences. it was amazing in the past, now it's awesome. hope they forget the idea to drop it, and start evolving it. these latest upgrades have been great.

Android is on the top because the companies (mostly Samsung) put a lot of money to advertise android as a "MUST HAVE" OS. It is getting very fragmented and causing problems for the software developers too. Maybe android UI is cool and can be futuristic, but it is eating your battery till the end of the day. The most attractive phones today have quad-core processors, gigabytes of RAM...why? Is it really necessary if there is a well optimized OS that can do anithing with single core and less RAM? Companies are "renting" the OS from google and they are not doing R&D just making unique interfaces. I think Apple devices are not the best in price/value but they are developing and testing iOS which is well optimized. To close my tale, nobody knows what will be the trend 2 years later. I feel that android is getting into a really big trouble with its trillions of devices. I wait for WP8, maybe it will be good. But once again I think the best is symbian.
It's not trolling or offense, just personal thoughts. ;)

kindly if anyone knows it means... more60 fps would be better. as this will look smoother. and not so choppy.
but at 30 fps in 1080p. this is still good.

For example if you shoot moving train on 30fps then it will become blur. so 1080p picture quality is clear but for 30fps or 60fps is depend what you are going to shoot.

Nokia is sooo dumb. they did not even learn from N9 experiance. the price they are asking is too much for these craps. even now pureview is expensive and it will be another flopp by nokia. not a fan of any maker i am just telling a truth.
sony ericssion make good phone but also bit expencive and chunk (not durable)
Motorola is not near yet.
Samsung is a big copy cat of apple i would say straightaway. i donot know why thereir enginears dont realise that. they are just cheap teaves.
Htc is good but expensive and lacks in some specs
Apple is union of stupid junk yard. they are stupidly expensive but makes good phones but outdated specs. not worth for money. honestly thet are faaaar behind from current market.
