raydon, 05 Mar 2012the update is supposed to increase battery lif by 15%, why is ur thinkin soo -veoh i see. so it's an attempt to increase the battery life to last a day at the most? be glad fandroids, you may use your expensive toys for a day now! lol

if you really are loyal to nokia you would know better than fandroid sour grapes.
obviously you don't know about the:
1. expandable memory, usb-on-the-go
2. HDMI, TV-out
3. Symbian is power efficient unlike iOS or Android
4. apps compatibility (unlike my galaxy tab where a lot of games force close or apps simply do not work because of compatibility) and again, HDMI, TV-out for viewing the full quality of pictures or videos
5. quickoffice
6. i agree that the design is not good, but it's not about the looks (surely you won't buy a laptop just because the color is so bright and glossy, or would you? i don't expect apple fanboys to understand this). it's about the performance.

and do you know which (cpu) chipset it uses!? :)
p.s. the 808 pureview uses an rgb (and not pentile) screen!! ;)

I think you're (almost) the only one who doesn't understand what's behind this 41MP camera!!
Of course you can shoot pictures in 38 (4:3 mode) or 34MP (16:9 mode) and everyone should know that more MP doesn't mean automatically better pictures!!!
BUT the thing is the PureView technology which allows you to take AMAZING 5 or 8MP pictures - by oversampling...!!!

Rather the sensor is that sensitive so that 5 and 8MP pictures even when zoomed in are very very clear. Check out GSMarena's review on PureView.

Its amazing how people get all excited and think that the higher the MP the better the picture LOL, Dude most of you all dont even need that much of a pixel. 5 MP is enough, unless your printing a huge picture size which most of you are not... many will just upload it to facebook which doesnt even take such huge a file... lol sad

Wow.Finally a phone that take excellent videos and camera picture.The processor will do fine,now I can put away my N8 and SGS2 and use this one only.Hope It will be for sale really soon.

All Nokia got to do is enhance Symbian and Belle has prove that it is worth it...
But back then Elop make Nokia suffered by restart everything again with WP where all the resources and marketing are 100% pour in Lumia...
It's ok as long as Nokia keep Symbian, promote the products well and sell in all region instead of only some small region... and dont forget the mighty N9 and amazing MeeGo Swipe UI that touched the mobile world should be competing with high-end device like iphone...
All the mistake was done when Elop lead Nokia just when Nokia about to recover itself...

But I am still hoping they release this one with bigger storage. That is the only part of the confirmed specifications/features list that I am not too happy about. All other specs/features are cool for me. This might go better with a 32GB version, but if they will only release a 16GB model, then fine. I'll just use a 32GB (if possible, try a 64GB) MicroSD card.
