Anonymous, 04 Mar 2012I can buy 2 Samsung galaxy S1's for the price of an N8 here and the S1 will obliterate the N8.... moreinsecure craproids...thats what you will remain. We like our 'shit' the way it smells so stop meddling. I am really trying hard to see what how your S1 is in way better than the N8. Be practical man, give examples! I told your friendroid that he walks with his head, he thought it was a joke..now here is another living example! How do you call the green guy/robot you so much like....Sammy? You are in trouble guys.

Anonymous, 04 Mar 2012Tell me, O Wise One, that you, by upgrading your ANDROID or IOS mobile device through SOFTWARE... moreActually, I was thinking that the only way to turn a $100 phone into a "super phone" was to install Symbian Anna into it, and that is ignoring the extra features. But since I asked him to show how a DROID could do it, there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that feat can me accomplished. Android is nice. It is good. But not as good as the time-tested-and-proven Symbian OS.. :)

It seems Mr/Ms. Android Sour Grapes quit already... After the 4th time I asked him to prove it. Meh~

Your post made me lol! That's quite the list you got there.. :)

[deleted post]Finally got rid of the Android-SourGrapes fanboy.
Guess he couldn't handle me. :)

Maybe he forgot about the FM Transmitter, TV-out, HDMI, battery-saving, secure and light OS, folders (to organize that nasty, cluttered app menu), and compatibility to ye olde apps that some (me, included) prefer to keep after all these years.

And he admitted defeat when I asked him to prove his point. Pffft...

[deleted post]And here is my proof that you are just sprouting nonsense. After 3 times of telling you to prove it. Still you won't do so. Alright. Suit yourself. Unless you say it here. There is no way you can do that.

As for the camera, that's your choice. You don't care about a phone's camera, fine. Don't bash other people people because they like the camera. They didn't actually say that they will buy this phone ONLY for the camera. And don't bash the phone.

5 years in development is a long time. 41MP really is an impressive feat, even if you don't care about it. Come on, don't tell me you were not amazed, or shocked by this achievement.

Also, please don't condemn the phone even before it has the chance to prove itself. No comprehensive reviews yet. Give it a chance. At least until it has already been properly reviewed, or if performance benchmarks are available already

Even I am waiting for them.

I've read a lot of people liking this also for its other features. So, camera is one selling point. But it also has other cool features.

This is the 3rd time for me to ask you. Lol.. It seems that you are actually just sprouting nonsense.. Gotcha.

No, a camera does not define a smartphone. Real-world performance does. Show us. Show us. Show us.

How can a 680MHz, 256MB RAM droid phone outperform the Nokia 808.. or the N8.. or whatever "overpriced symbian phone" you are talking about. Say which phones you will be putting against each other, and HOW the droid will outperform. We are all ears mate.

Especially me. For the 3rd... THIRD time.

from what am getting from the comments a smartphone is defined by its camera..that's what a smartphone is to a Nokia fanboy..
I didn't say that my $ 100 phone will have hd capabilities or will have nfc once its modified..and remember I said NEARLY as good...I don't expect my blade to be as good as my htc sensation..
but I can comfortably and confidently say that android phones compared to symbian phones within the same price range are much better...that's why I would never buy a nokia symbian phone..never!!!

AnonD-34890, 04 Mar 2012you see you are just confirming what am saying..unless you bring other devices like computers ... moreI'll throw the first one to you. again.. you bought an 8MP camera just to view them on your phone? your HTC captures 8MP photos, WAAYYY BIGGER than your phone's resolution. As a matter of fact, 1.3MP photos are enough to display correctly in your phone. Even you got a cameraphone that captures photos bigger than your screen's resolution. Give me statistics.. how many people keep their photos in their phones, and ONLY in their phones? Almost everyone (except for you maybe) copies their photos to other devices.

"android can support both tablets and phones..versitility" -that is your ONLY point? I got a tablet because that is the ONLY tablet OS worth getting.. And by that, I am only comparing iOS and Android. Just because they are on both platforms doesn't mean they are already good. If that is your basis, then how about we conclude that iOS is the best, because you can find it in a phone, mp3 player and tablet.. wow. by your standard of "versatile", iOS is the most versatile.

"I could give an example if you want" -hey, didn't I ask you to "Show me how a $100 Android can become a 'super phone'" in one of my earlier posts? Or did you just blindly reply without reading what I wrote?

Read carefully, then reply. I would appreciate that.
Skimming, not reading everything, then reply? Get out. It's annoying.

i hope all the ppl who want to buy this 41MP 808 are photographers, else its useless to other ppl, also in android ppl can root their devices and make it outperform which is not possible in symbian, i mean techno-geeks and smart ppl wil never opt for a symbian OS based device, this is a FACT

you see you are just confirming what am saying..unless you bring other devices like computers or HD tvs your photos from a 41mp camera will look like photos from a 2mp camera on that pathetic display..let's compare the phones on their own..
hardware aside or if we held hardware constant on all devices the android o.s offers more versatility.. on your tablet issue, maybe you should buy a symbian tablet..but wait there is no symbian tablet..android can support both tablets and phones..versitility...
superphone..yes it is..just like you said its not fair to compare phones that are not in the same price range..what I meant was with android devices even the budget phones can be modified to perform as nearly as good as higher end unmodified android devices..that means that they can outperform overpriced symbian devices..by overpriced I mean they do not give you value for your money..I could give an example if you want..
