Real-world performance is what counts the most!
I need a phone that performs very well in real life. I don't care how many cores it has, what it's rated speeds are, how much RAM or what GPU they are using. As long as it performs very well according to how it was marketed and if fits my needs (and wants), then this phone will have my vote.

Khadim, 02 Mar 2012Now that is something. Eventually Nokia Decided to get back in the game. Goodthey tried hard but in vain, they r no longer in the race, very soon nokia will be manuf. only digi cams becos they are not smart enuf to produce smartphones.

41mp camera, 100mp from Nokia won't make any diff. Its not as if its gona be taking stunning pictures. Digital cameras with 8mp will produce better pixs. With 184ppi screen am sure this will really be a dull screen. Hey, I currently use Nokia N8 wit 12mp camera bla bla bla but the pictures i take have never been extra ordinary. So Nokia plz try something else bcos most other phones with even 8mp camera will compete favourably with this phone in terms of photo quality. The specifications are not eye brow raising either, no hotspot and adobe flash in 2012 phone? Disappointingly embarrassing!

Just in Case anyone is wondering what the 808s housing is made out of
It's been confirmed by Damian Dinning that the main housing is made up of
Polycarbonate with a ceramic coating like the White N9s and Lumia 800/900s
Stainless Steel for the buttons and
Gorilla Glass, curved, for the screen and lens area the front is like the N9s curved screen

Well...I have read most of the comments.You see symbian actually doesnt need a very fast processor like the `heavy` android or ios.I think 1.3ghz is ok (how much processor speed is there in a dslr?),though i felt that 1ghz RAM would have been gr8.808 has effective pixels of 38mp.and the images are fantastic.Well most of us do need to click for images every now and then.but over all 808 is really great and who said there is no apps????

i love to see the development symbian. It is the first excellent camera phone. I hope nokia will get improvement on software in symbian.808 is very nice smart phone with good camera ;but it should run with symbian^6 to be ahead of samsung and iphone
