hey...it have 41 MP cmarea...thn will the size of one image taken by this....u hv to keep a hard disk drive with it....lol ;))
this is a tremendous tremendous break through for symbian.now surely android must be jealous of this.
my 1st impression on understanding the device? good work GSMArena! wow Nokia you are indeed back in game and will beat everybody... was this feeling permanent? not really!
these are things which were easily noticeable, hence easily commented:
1) looks: definitely not premium... if Nokia calls it N8 successor, then the looks dept. should have given it similar looks if not better... my opinion? it sucks! Red is interesting though!
2) screen resolution? what is Nokia thinking?
3) battery? what is Nokia thinking?
4) Call management > Contacts > Detailed contact information... if it is the same as the one on Belle, then sorry boss, even my Samsung E2232 DUOS has better management of contacts and call log features (where can you find up to 7 features under Call Logs?)
5) no camera shutter?
should i go for N9 or 808... ummmm... thinking...
That's gonna be my next phone, no doubt about it. I love my N8 but this is the beast. Amazing, good job nokia!
AnonD-31621, 01 Mar 2012what is n8's OS? is it windows? of course no. 808 is n8's successor so probably it'll have the... moremate thats a lame answer, the buyer dont care what the predecessor was like, he/she spending their money so they want a better thing thats all.
Try to focus on what people need not what company needs.
AnonD-44531, 01 Mar 2012windows phone recently have limitation to support camera module for only 16 megapixel.thanks for replying, but i still think they should had worked somehow to put Windows in it rather than a dead OS. 41MP is not necessary, there are numerous ways of improving camera.
but still its good for Nokia to come back in market again and amazingly with a dead OS :D
Raptor, 01 Mar 2012Everything is good except for one thing, why Nokia chose Symbian?? why not Windows Phone 7??what is n8's OS? is it windows? of course no. 808 is n8's successor so probably it'll have the same OS. read some news here dude, they might try developing this technology to other nokia handsets so stay calm and updated.

This phone got the best award for MWC 2012 "Best New Mobile Handset, Device or Tablet at Mobile World Congress 2012"
honestly speaking this is the greatest phone in the entire history yet.
unbeatable camera, best operating system, biggest memory, best call phone, sms etc.
there is no end to its beauty.
Everything is good except for one thing, why Nokia chose Symbian?? why not Windows Phone 7??
AnonD-22214, 01 Mar 2012Though the camera would be the best in the market at present, Nokia forgot to give it a modern... moreI like this design better than the N8, especially the white one, is great! The screen size is OK, I have a E7, same screen, is big, but I think that Elop did not let Symbian developers to increase the resolution, it would have meant the death of their window phone line!
Though the camera would be the best in the market at present, Nokia forgot to give it a modern shape n look to it.... its look is awful n out of date.... n still only 4inch screen n amoled.... should have been 4.5 inch screen n super amoled screen.... N8 looks are still better than this stupid shape they have given to it....
There is no practical use for a camera with 43 Mega pixel. why dont nokia use some brains
