Most of crowd here is purely jealous about Nokia's gr8 innovation. Nokia 808 specs are more than decent for any smartphone, ppl are forgetting that smartphone performance can't ride only on embedded multiple CPU cores or Gigs of RAM, which ultimately drain the battery like a power hungry devil what we see in android case. If u have to recharge your smartphone every 5-6 hrs then it will definitely blow away the concept of Mobile computation.
Symbian perform efficiently over 680 Mhz processor; a True Multi-Tasker, Excellent Multimedia capture, gr8 UI with belle etc
Nokia 808 take Camera phone capabilities to new heights, salute to them! Nothing to say more, Camera samples are self-explanatory :)

Anonymous, 29 Feb 201241 megapixel doesnt mean anything ,, Canon 5DMarkII at 24 megapixels ,, or Canon 1DX at 18 meg... moreDude .. its not about mobile phone vs DSLR.
Its about technology, the good stuff about the 41MP cam is all about taking sharp images by getting rid of unwanted pixels and selecting the best captured pixel. It is stated by nokia that the final image will be a normal 5MP or 8MP image but with much better clarity.
The best part of this cam is there is not optical zoom unlike ur canon cams. Its resolution of the image is still maintained after zooming. Thats a real good job done by minds behind it.
dont compare it with DSLR .. come on ..grow up man. Its like ur comparing watching a video on 4.5inch mobile phone and on a 52inch LED TV.
Finally all that matters is how will they use the same algorithm in their future phones say with a 12mp or 16mp cams.

it will b a disaster.. mobile camera dosn matter ,..!! bcz clearity depends on optical zoom. so i think 41 MP sucks. n forget dat it wl compete wd ios n android!

512 mb of ram is good enough!!! Belle doesn't use so much as android... I have Nokia C6-01 with symbian belle (668Mhz and 256 Ram)... It's fast enough and i'm happy with it!

Upload it via phone to the internet. No need to plu your Digicam or DSLR to transfer photos.

My n8 can shoot 12MP and results are around 1-2.5MB size. So im guessing images from 808 will be around 8-10 in 38MP mode. With Pureview settings on and 8MP might be around 1mb? not sure

When i get a photo of 40MB i need to compress it to 100k to 300k. Big files are a nightmare in a digital era.

                                    Thanks.
