I have used Nokia since 1996 and I love all the phones I used.
For the first time afer years tho,I can say that
Nokia is trying hard to do something great.
this phone is a machine -I love it and I cant wait to get one -the red one
android, ios and windows will take atleast a year or two to beat the n8 in photography. It will take atleast a decade for other os to have the capability to take 38mp photos. Android may be the Jack of all trades but symbian is the KING of mobile photography.
Mateen, 28 Feb 2012lol now nokia is getting so stupid Nokia 808 with a 41mp :/
Does that really sounds attractiv... moreanother stupid comment...
don't assume that 41mp on 360x640 resolution is crazy just because you cannot view the pictures or videos from your phone on an HDTV.
experience it before you bash it!
i think Symbian would be badder than I-phone and Android if they had more apps, but OH my God, what am i seeing, am i dreaming about this are i am seeing what i want to see, which i am seeing but still saying i am not seeing, is this real. I thought Nokia N8 was the sickest but nokia 808 with 41MP, nokia is joking right, please telling they are not serious, are they joking. I just can't believe my eyes, i cant believe my eyes. Oh MY GOD, all i can say is WOW WOW WOW!!!
Nokia is the best, and i love Symbian.
very nice.. nicer than that of the Nikon and Leica m6/m7.. hehehe 1st smartphone to feature a 41 Megapixel camera.. w0w
Nice! perfect cam! but too small mass storage ! how can i carry this camera with this small storage???
i would suggested to give it to 32g or 64 or somethings lager...... it would be a experiential phone with camera... and i using N8 now.... i love it so much.... sign i updated to belle it make feel mistaken, cuz my N8 belle can't play xxx.flv i a very bad for me....
Please Nokia fix it.......
What about the gpu? If its processing 1billion pixels per second and doing all the oversampling I wanna know about it.
I'm a N8 user, and frankly speaking I will never give up on Nokia because of their user friendly base... And ow I cant wait for PureView.... I cant Wait....
AnonD-44341, 29 Feb 201241 MP (38 MP effective, 7152 x 5368 pixels) = 38mb - 40 mb per picture you take. This is the... moreAverage image size is 10MB, the samples are available for download so you can check them out. Nokia optimized the output so you get pure photos and no garbage. ;-)
41 MP (38 MP effective, 7152 x 5368 pixels) = 38mb - 40 mb per picture you take.
This is the time you will not buy a digicam if you having this cp.
NONOkia, 27 Feb 2012PureView?
the screen itself isn't even WVGA let alone 720p.
Why capture picture 100x ... moreanother stupid comment...
what is the USB-on-the-go for?
can't you transfer the files from your phone and view it on an HDTV?
think before you speak.
I think nokia has its own way of making smartphones not just competing with specs. I think they consider user-friendliness, usability, power economy, type of consumers, and durability. that's why you could see more old nokia phones than any other brands which people are using in their everyday activities, at least here in Asia & Africa.
Have you read about Nokia 801, with 12mp shooter, 4.0"touch screen and 1.4ghz cpu. It's symbian version of lumia 800... AND IT RUNS ON SYMBIAN CARLA
as per the pictures, it's going to have no physical buttons..
AnonD-15976, 29 Feb 2012The N8 does, the 701 does, don't see any reason why this shouldn'tThese are among the basic features of belle and Nokia do not need to mention it everytime..
Anonymous, 28 Feb 2012808 is the last Symbian phone from nokia.. Lets rock Nokia guys.. even they would be ending ... moreIt's not the last...symbian will release symbian Donna which needs dual core cpu and high RAM and there is no phone presently with dual core cpu. So it's not the end of symbian..!!!
