Have you ever heard of pre-caching the maps? And tell me, does any other map service has that kind of detail in it, as the Google Maps does?
I'll surely buy this phone. Whatever be the price. This phone is awesome. Not just because of the cam. The other features are awesome too. Even the looks rock!!!
AnonD-44234, 28 Feb 201241 MEGAPIXEL CAMERA??? Samsung and Apple just got trolled by Nokia.Correct!! :) :)

41 MEGAPIXEL CAMERA??? Samsung and Apple just got trolled by Nokia.
so when they say it's 13mm thick: is this at camera part or the rest? coz 13mm is already too thick for 2012 standards even if that was at the camera part, if it had optical zooming that would be okey coz it would surve u as a real point and shoot cam!
What's with all the "no front cam" comment? First of all, it does have one. 2nd-what mid-high end nokia don't have secondary cam?
Alui, 28 Feb 2012They should have made a removable cover for the glass covering the camera. Once the glass gets... morethe glass is gorilla glass as well. Similar to n8s.
as for a cover, Nokia has an accessory for it. A casing with a eye patch like cover for the bulge.
They should have made a removable cover for the glass covering the camera. Once the glass gets dirty or scratched you have a useless 41MPix camera.
Nothing is special in this mobile instead of camera every things is old.
if i need good photo quality i will go for a digital or slr camera not for heavy ugly expensive mobile phone
AnonD-5041, 28 Feb 2012To make this all happen, we developed a sensor with a special companion processor that handles... morethe bulge is there because you need a certain distance between the lens and the sensor. Since the sensor has gotten bigger, you need the lens to move further away from it. This bulge is bigger compared to n8s
Previously thought of not buying another Nokia phone since both the phone i've used are nokia and needed a change... But after seeing the camera specs of this one, need to rethink seriously :)
Resolution remains 360 x 640!! It's OS limitation? Come on. Make a progress.
AnonD-5041, 28 Feb 2012Around PHP 27,000.00 - 30,000.00 don't know if they will add 12% E-VAT. I hope it will be lowe... moreNokia n8 was 370 Euros without tax... Becam 23,699 php. yes 27,000-30,000 would be a close price if compared to N8s initial price here in Philippines
i own n8 wich is amazing camera phone but 808 is like from different planet..super phone!
OK, the sensor might be 41Mpix but how about the lenses? I read somewhere that the iPhone 4S has the lens resolution matching the sensor resolution, that's why you have such crisp photos. I doubt there is a 41 Mpix lens resolution. Second, depth of field? Number of focal points? The pictures shown on the internet might be processed and are a bit noisy for 41Mpix. Next, video: 1080p at 30 fps? With single core processor? I doubt the quality will be very good. BTW, at 41MPix I guess a HDR camera application is out of the question(needs to process at least three photos). I'll rather have the 12Mpix Xperia S(hopefully the lens resolution is also 12 Mpix) with better low light sensor combined with the HDR camera android app. The advantage of the Xperia is that Sony will have/has its own Movies download store, not available to other Android phones, for sure not available to Symbian and WP phones, and maybe better than iTunes. More than that, what apps you'll have for this Symbian phone? And the screen resolution is still the lowest on the market.
