Anonymous, 06 Oct 2013haha i get it but the pictures do.. So it's not really a big deal.. :D The 808 gets confused sometimes in portrait & landscape for me. I have to hold it perfectly still (even after the shot is taken) or it will save in a different mode. I have to wait until the photo goes in the gallery which is kind of annoying. Also the camera freezes sometimes taking a lot of photos (even video only happened once) & it automatically reboots, which can ruin a important shot I was hoping to get. I regret updating the software from Nokia as it didn't have this problem.
Also shots seem to have some red in them which is annoying. I know the red eye reduction helps with this but it's tiring having to take the shot again. I guess I'm just going to have leave that setting on. It's very easy to get blurry shots in low light without the flash.
A lot of smartphones seems to have this problem. When I'm filming video the video quality looks different from when it's actually saved. The quality of when I was video recording was better then what was actually saved (it was still great of course) don't know what's up with that.
Also the flash from the 808 during video recording is not as bright as my S3.

I am hoping for a major update comes before that day happens.. Anyway nokia 808 is a solid phone and worth to keep because of its outrageous camera.. I'm planning to buy mid range wp8 for back up. I still love nokia because their phones are built to last.. :)

Guys being loving my 808 since I got it...then I brought another coz I knew it wld stop selling soon...coz if nokia got into windows...now since 1020 was announced I was dying to get it....sooo my 1 yr used 808 black I sold for 15k to collect money for 1020 wic is ver exp at 49k...now I started using my box packed 808 white....loved symbian as the most awesome OS....now getting 1020 lumia in few days yellow color....I know iam gonna miss lot of features frm symbian wic r not there on symbian...but apps on windows r piking up and have some quality apps...I have note 2 also. ..will keep my 808 white for ever soo wen ever 1020 fails on me I have a perfect back up fone...and guess wat wen i opened my box packed after feb...therw was still power in the battery and battery widget said chanrged since 223 daya ago wow...noq 1020 has even better battery . Cant wait to hold my yellow beast.. :)

I recommend it if you have the know how or means. I wont go back to OEM firmware. There is a guide on the website on how to flash too.
