Anonymous, 27 Jun 2013hope they fix the white balance on the 41mpix lumia.920 picture looks so weird some timesthe white balance comes cause of the focusing. Most of the devices have this ”problem”. If there is a powerful light, so to say. The sky. And you want to take a picture of a hause or something, normaly the sky should come very white. You can lower the light by lowering the exposure in the camera settings. While will not get read of the whit, will at least lower it's annoying glowing.

And can't be matched by any other camera in a smartphone! You've got to see it to believe! Peace!! :))

People just see 41 MP and think this phone will take great photos. Look at the entire phone specs before deciding on a phone. The camera is only one aspect. If you want something that takes great photos get a dedicated SLR with the right lens. A 41 MP photo on this phone will like crap compared to a nice 16-18 MP SLR.

Companies like to exploit one or two aspects of a product to make it stand out but with a smart phone you'll want one that excels great in the most possible areas. I seriously doubt there's much difference between a photo taken with this one compared to one taken on a 13 MP phone.

So, this decision is up to your need only. I would go for 808, cheaper and with the system i like. But if you have money and don't care to much about 808 abilities (though, maybe the new 1020 will have at least 80% of them). Then you can go for 1020 to, is new. The only problem i have with wp is the fact that is still locked and does not have allot of what my n8 has.

@ALL: I have oportunity to get 808 for 200€ with more than 1 year warranty left. It's used but in great condition - only one month back was removed original screen protective 'label'...

What do you think - should I take this oportunity or wait for 1020 (EOS), which would probably be "a little" more expensive than this anyway?

I'm sorry but I didn't use that app before, I just installed it now and it seems to be very advanced lock screen, I used nokia sleeping screen, maze lock and Iunlock
...they are all good specially nokia's one...but now I'm using the original one and I'm satisfied, some times I switchs to nokia lock screen but not this moment,

you mentioned also that Andro menu may be the reason, try to uninstall it, and let's see, if not...send message to the footmark via mail and tell them and I'm sure they will be on help

keep in touch, and post us updates

sorry again I couldn't help you.

This problem of yours comes only with that app turned on? If yes, just delete it and wait for an update. Or just try Alexander Fokin SwipeUnlock. This has bugs to, but not that serious. Why don't you use the original one? Is better then all of them together. I got sick and tired of testing new lock screen apps. They all are buggy and make your system unstable...
