- plastic cover is very sens... moreMost of the details are pretty much true, except:
Post 1- Silent mide is available. Use the Volume slider from the quick settings.
Post 2- First letter is uppercase (by default i think) You can change it by pressing # key when typing the msg
Post 3- When the adapter is plugged in and charging the batery icon has a lightning like sign on it. If the screen is off, plugging the adapter will turn the display on.

Until now noticed bugs and deficiencies (firmware 12.00.17.06)
- plastic cover is very sensitive - minor scratches immediately
- dialler remembers only the last 20 calls
- calendar starts from Sunday
- cannot remove popup windows in browser (cookie notification)
- no option to set shortcuts on arrow buttons like on other feature Nokia phones
- cannot change or add shortcuts in shortcuts menu
- bluetooth reconnection with paired device does not work, you must turn on/off bluetooth on phone again
- no charger notification when power adapter is plugged in
- battery does not show percentage of capacity on main screen, you must go to settings to check the percentage

- no info on main screen about missed calls and SMS
- when the slider is closed after a call, the screen stays turned on
- when using hotspot phone gets very hot
- when composing an SMS the first letter is not automatically uppercase
- when an SMS is sent sometimes there is a sound notification, sometimes there is not
- mail synchronising is extremely slow and is not working properly

Anyone able to send MMS with the phone? I tried to, with both data and wifi on, but still it failed to send. Contacted my service provider for activation, and it was activated, but still it doesnt work. Anyone have the

I am awaiting a bigger OS update. The phone does not support Facebook and WhatsApp, while Jio phone/Jio phone 2 already has these functions.

8110 4G paired to Volkswagen car Infotainment Discover Media but unable to transfert phone contacts. My 2 other old Nokia phones did that very well.
So, contact your car brand and check compatibility before buying 8110 4G

Phone is a bit buggy, and while you're typing a text sometimes the whole message disappears. Searching for contacts is slow, and lags most of the time. Is there any way to find out data consumed when cellular data is on, or when hotspot is active?

--- this is just a waste of money.... better stick to pure feature phone than this device.
Memphis, 29 Jul 2018I got this phone a few days ago. Up until now, my biggest issue with this phone is: - slow ... moreI agree. But the app store is the least of my worries. KaiOS team should focus on user experience efore adding any apps. Small things like that "no sim in sim 2 slot" is where it should really improve. It's half baked for now. Hope it'll get better with updates...

----Use airplane mode when you're sleeping----
(in case you didn't know - airplane mode makes you switch off the simcard, so you won't be disturbed by calls or msgs, it can help if you need to make a emergency call since you won't have to wait until phone boots up to make the call)

Right now you cant install.
WhatsApp on KaiOS it will be available only in October/November 2018.

First impressions after using a few hours:
* Quite slow startup compared to older feature phones.
* The UI lags sometimes.
* Not possible to customize home view shortcuts - complicated to achieve basic tasks.
The hardware design is nice anyway, and it's the main reason I purchased this phone. Not interested of purchasing apps or any Internet related features.
But the real showstopper is:
Alarm clock does not alarm when phone is turned off!
Still confused how can that be true, but I tested it several times.
This seemingly small flaw makes the 8110 4G unusable to me as my only phone, unfortunately. I need my goodnight sleep without phone turned on. And I also need a reliable wake-up in the morning, wherever I travel.
I ordered this phone to replace my worn out Nokia 108. But possibly I just need to purchase a new 108 from somewhere, and wait for new stylish basic/feature phones to emerge on the market.

The phone very very slow ,give a command and it will take time before responding, and when i'm using hot spot and a call comes in, the phone will hang and can't accept or reject the call, i have to restart it and there after i can't find the number in call records, something needs to be done.

I got this phone a few days ago. Up until now, my biggest issue with this phone is:

- the OS seems incomplete as it is missing basic options that are present in other phones
- no silent mode
- vibration cannot be disabled for when the call has been answered

- poor app store
I believe that the pricing for this phone is way to high.
