This was the BEST phone ever!!!! I wish they would bring out another! all it needs in addition is more memory and bluetooth capabilities! Nothing else! Size and functions are perfect.. a phone for phone users!
still got this phone! love it so cute and small(like the missus lol!) the one i have is unlocked and in immaculate condition..could be worth something one day!!
I wonder how much will its price be for next 10 or 20 years, for a still active one at Christie?
i had this phone as my 2nd phone given by my ex boyfriend as a replacement for my phone nokia 3310..i love it at first because it so tiny..fits to my pocket..so handy..but it after few months, it started to have problems like, it always hang, no signal, & the display in the screen disappear..

I just found an old 8210 from junk in my house somewhere. Had to change the facia plate and battery. Too bad couldn't find originals. Still Works pretty well. Love it with E71 in one hand and 8210 in other.
I LOVED this phone. I still have it and wish it was functional every so often. I leave it docked 24/7 near my bed and it still functions as a great alarm clock when needed. Always synch's time, battery carries it through power outages, the alarm gradually gets louder and has a pleasant ring.
My touch pro2 may have tons of features, but it is nearly 3x the size and weight and looks nowhere near as nice.

However, I do miss phones of this size though, smartphones may be getting smarter but they're also getting very big now, but then again the smartphone isn't a dumbphone, which is the true mobile phone.

Phone Designers and Nokia were so innovative and way ahead of thier time during the Nokia 8210's reign. Most of the smartphones today just lack soul and just all look the same, the features and functions may be advanced but we're not seeing the rapid change like we saw with the Nokia 8210 and 6310i, arguably two of Nokia's most successful models of all time. Throw in the N95 for good measure too. Plus today, as I sai before, the pace of tech is way too slow and there's hardly any updates or news for like, months and then the handset is released when it's obsolete. Back then with the 8210, it remained fresh even with all the other handsets which were just as advanced, but this had the form factor and power!
Nokia has to go back to retro...we still need some cute little but power packed phones like this one..no need for all the techs but just call and sms..i love nokia.
This phone is really cute for its size and the keypad is silent you wont here the click on it and its really handy!
Can NOKIA try to make an N series with a size of 8210???
How do I lock the keypad on this phone eg, lock it so I do not press keys accidentally? Many thanks

level_up, 26 Nov 2009Classic! This is the phone that made Nokia famous....much like the T610 made SE a name for itself...the 'ol half brick 5110s made nokia the household name- but i was so relieved when these ones came out- i thought they were tiny!
