tammy, 07 Jan 2010Nokia has to go back to retro...we still need some cute little but power packed phones like th... moreI totoally agree with you Tammy. Phone Designers and Nokia were so innovative and way ahead of thier time during the Nokia 8210's reign. Most of the smartphones today just lack soul and just all look the same, the features and functions may be advanced but we're not seeing the rapid change like we saw with the Nokia 8210 and 6310i, arguably two of Nokia's most successful models of all time. Throw in the N95 for good measure too. Plus today, as I sai before, the pace of tech is way too slow and there's hardly any updates or news for like, months and then the handset is released when it's obsolete. Back then with the 8210, it remained fresh even with all the other handsets which were just as advanced, but this had the form factor and power!
Nokia has to go back to retro...we still need some cute little but power packed phones like this one..no need for all the techs but just call and sms..i love nokia.
This phone is really cute for its size and the keypad is silent you wont here the click on it and its really handy!
Can NOKIA try to make an N series with a size of 8210???
How do I lock the keypad on this phone eg, lock it so I do not press keys accidentally? Many thanks

level_up, 26 Nov 2009Classic! This is the phone that made Nokia famous....much like the T610 made SE a name for itself...the 'ol half brick 5110s made nokia the household name- but i was so relieved when these ones came out- i thought they were tiny!

I traded my 8250 for this one way with my friend way back in the day. I remember him telling me he paid Rs. 12000 for it when it first released in India... .12000! Now you'd can get a decent touchscreen phone with WiFi and 3G for that much! Great phone though...
no matter how expensive, how perfectly designed, how great it is in its feature, how cool it looks..we cant use it with out load..this phone is designed for people like me..no matter how old it is,how cheaper, how gross it looks..for me its perfect..anywhere i go..it doesn't magnetize holdapper..hahahahaha..
Alex, 16 Aug 2009I had the TDMA version 8260, at the beggining, what a great phone, super design, you can switch ... moreI have one of this as my third phone. Once it warns me it's low on battery it still works for another four days! it still works but other than calls its useless.
So is my Iphone also.
wow..this reminds me about 8 years ago when this is the phone that my mom gave to me as my first ever phone and it is a nokia..
madman, 02 Sep 2009i think iphone is betterHe was being sarcastic.....Of course we know it is, but this is a 10-11 year old model, plus it's lighter than the Iphone 3Gs and probably has better battery too!
I had the TDMA version 8260, at the beggining, what a great phone, super design, you can switch between providers, but is delicate, when i place it on jeans pocket turns off, and stressed the screws, by the way on those days when you changed the faceplate you got to get like 10 tiny new screws, if not will not turn, I sold it for $50 after paying $60 on repairs, the up/dpwn side buttons are really unncessary and mine got damaged
