Btw do you know how to edit the firmware files of this phone? Seems like it should be rather easy, but most people haven't seem to figure it out yet

Nokia could've easily put polyphonic ringtones (audio files, not MIDI) instead of monophonic ringtones and a polyphonic startup sound with this phone, 6310i, 8910, 8910i and 6510. A missed opportunity at the time to beat the Sony CMD J5, J6, J7 and J70 to make this phone the first worldwide phone with polyphonic ringtones

Apart from a... moreThe 8310 and all other phones are able to ring and message, but multimedia or internet would not work with today's speed and data amounts. I had one in the past and it is a nice small size, but had a lot of features for it's day - I really liked this nokia.

OMG I cant believe I have kept this phone going as a spare phone for 18 years!!!! Apart from a new ebay battery every few years it hasnt missed a beat. Now they are turning off 2G I hope someone rereleases this in 4G. great sized phone which is JUST A PHONE

One awesome upgrade from the Nokia 8210 - I especially loved the interchangeable fascias so you could give your phone an individual look!!
Oh, and that blue screen, was simply TOO COOL!!!!!!!!!!
