i like this fone. been using this for the past 6years already. but the only problem is the ON/OFF switch even if i already have it fixed twice.
i love the like heaven abd i have only one problem is the switch . when u dont take ur time , u will damage it and u have to get new just bcoz of switch .but all the same it is one of the best phones in town
This is one of the best phones ,even after using it for 5 years it is in good condition
This was my very first phone that I got when I was 13. I've had it 4 years... I love it... the only reason I'm now searching for another one is because it is old...
This is in fact my first nokia phone. i love it so much that even today i can find another one to replace it. i have been trying hard to find another model. But i think 8310 will always remain 8310. the best phone nokia made. plesae make a new one now. it's high time. it's my life partner. Cheers
I have used this phone 5 years ago...
I still keep it at home, it has cool design, good functions as old phone... I own Nokia N95 now, trust me buy NOKIA nothing else :)
Just remembered something... Actually it did have some rubbish games... snowboard was terrible but I wanted to add one other thing.
This is my fallback phone... everytime one of my new delicate phones dies I go back to this... it is uttery indestructable and seemingly, like the terminator, it absolutely will not stop :)
This was the last good phone I had, I've had 2 Sony ericsson and a samsung since and they're all too damn clever for their own good this is solid reliable sturdy, allows custom ringtones and message tones and thats about it... No camera no fancy pants internet malarky and no rubbish games... The OS was rock solid too... everything I've had since lags and crashes constantly... Unfortunately I think this was pretty much the last good phone they made... allegedly their tech peaked around this point and now its all laggy and unweildy with 5megapixel MMS Wap enabled pontlessness capabilities :(
i have this for few years from now and i can tell that this phone is the best choice i've ever made; this little thing is strong as a bull, i drop it many times and it doesn't break
the battery life time is very good if is new ,my battery has 3 years and it still runs for 4 days
Its hard for me to compare phones, as I've had just the one 8310 since 2001, and ITS A BRILLIANT PHONE!!! Not a single problem in six years, study, perfect size, used it across the world. I've a couple of friends who have also had them that long, it really is simply a classic model
This phone was one of my favorites until it died on me last year. I still have a bunch of official Nokia faceplates that I don't know what to do with and every time I see that I think back at how great the phone was. I am now using the Samsung t809 and it's also a great phone, with a lot of things that the 8310 doesn't have, but I would still pick this phone over the t809 if I had a choice. This has got to be the best phone I've used.
i've had this phone since 2002 it's been chucked, dropped, drowned, u name it it's been thru it, but it still works just like the day i bought it, probably the most reliable and unbreakable phone out there
this phones unbreakable........ the only way to get rid of it is if you give it someone otherwise its always gonna be there to use
i dropped it in the bath laods of times let it fry for 2 days and it still works
its been in the sink full of water for over 5 minutes still works
i smashed it on the floor more then 100 times still works
ive smashed it against the walls and it still works
do everything and it still works dont no how it still works but its just unbreakable
most reliable phone ever
The new 8310 should have a colour screen, polyphonic ringtone, mp3, mp4, aac, aac+, wav, video support and card slot based on its original sleek, cute, stylish, modern design, than it will rock and rave.
I don't think Nokia is going to come up with a new version of the Nokia 8310 looking at the direction Nokia is taking, currently making ugly blocky phones. I like the Nokia 8310, had the black one and it is damn cute, modern, stylish and sexy.I wish Nokia could make all their phones including 3G phones look like the 8310.
