NCC Singapore - i went to ask they say latest software still V4.53 .
The future software may be out by March .
Hope it will carries a screensaver and composer with it as said by thousands of people online .

If i had lots of cash perhaps i will try out T68...seems to be a phone with lots of potential .
But basically , people would neglect the most impt thing which is how fast the menu runs . For eg , if u type the sms in fsat speed but it process it slow...causing lots of troublesome .
SMS is impt and should be make it as efficient as 8310. But i Have Nokia 3310..

I have had every nokia phone, but the fantastic Nokia 8310!!! Believe me when i tell you that the nokia 8310 is the finest released nokia phone!!!! it has more features than any other Nokia in the market. At the moment i have a SIEMENS SL45 and that also is a great phone with many features. BUT IT IS NOT A NOKIA 8310!!! YES the nokiia 8310 has a composer

i paid 440$ in romania and i finally got it. what;sa this about v4.53; v5.03? what are this? mail me pls couse i must now if can have composer and screensaver on my 8310

To Kent Loh: it also happens to me... And when you try to transfer a calendar note form 8210 to 8310 (with à, ã, etc. in some words), the note in the 8310 appears with strange characters. It's a stylish phone, but lacks in terms of organizer. I'm posing the chance of switching to 6510.

Hey! Anybody facing this problem?
Try using your infra red to send a phone number from your phonebook to any older version Nokia Phones (Eg. 8850 and 8250). You will see that the name is shortened or disappears. However, the no. remains. Also, logos from Caller Groups cannot be send and receive via the infra red of the 8310. Share with me please. Thanx!

a very nice phone, v4.53 is extremely stable. phone gets a bit slow around the messages, but thats only cause i have 140 or so SMS's stored... everything about it is all good.
and oh yeh, the lights fade in and out. gotta love that =)
