realy very good quality phone past 2003 i bought still i am using onely i replaced panel ,bettary also working in condition radio fm is still working good condition (radio fm now new modles are very worst effect) everythig working in good condition .my good suggestion to nokia plaese make that same model in color, card slot and bigger screen,

Guys, I have my Nokia 8310 too & I agree that this fone is great!..But, my radio wasn't working anymore. A message "Headset needed" appeared if I tried 2 open it withouT headset h0wever,after plugging a headset in it...It goes back to idle screen. The radio won't working. Please,could any1 help me on how to fix this problem. I wanna used my radio in 8310. Thankz in advance! Here's my e-mail add: limonrichard@ymail.com

It's simple, small, good standby time, and almost impossible to break and have all the basic functions. It's a keeper:)

santhosh shet, 06 Mar 2009its a fantastic phone i want 2 buy this phone for any costReally? Even at $300, for something that is almost ten years old now. No bluetooth, mms, nothing but the radio. Try ebay or better ye retrobrick.com sell some old clasics but I think the 8310 is still relatively modern to be considered a classic. Try that site out.

You don't know what you're missing out on with Nokia N97, a new rumored touchscreen communicator, Samsung Omnia HD, samsung INNOV8, LG Viewty 2 with 8Mp, better yet, get a sony ericsson C905 in copper gold. Even the basic entry SE J132 would be a wise upgrade for less than a bag of fish and chips and it comes equipped with fm radio, torch and colour screen!

This is my seventh year using this phone with this battery every day. Work that out! Compare a new Nokia with the 8310 after a small drop on the ground; new Nokia features-nil (except for a handful of broken plastic), 8310 Phone calls- yes Text-yes Radio-yes and still one of the smallest Nokias ever made. Although I am upgrading to a new Nokia this month, after seven years it's time to get a new one.

I think there is nothing wrong with this phone , if you want just to receive and make a call this phone is fine cause these latest phones you go and spend alot of money on them and then the phone breaks , then what you have to buy another one that is going to cost you alot of money but this phone is cheap but strong ,i think this phone is ideal for me , hope you feel the same.

Excuse me sir, bu... moreWell, the 8310 was good in it's day and s the build was good unlike some Nokias today. The radio was pretty good and that screen was just gorgeous,shared the same blue lighting as the 8850 series. But don't diss the classics, they are what they are, classics! I prefer this over the 6310i

Excuse me sir, but even the lowest spec phones have a radio today and have more processing power than this, don't even compare this to an Android or WinMo 7 smartphone circa 2010, you'll only be laughed at for being a philistine.
