The Only advantage is that when i hold it out in a party or gathering to make a call or listen I get a lot of ATTENTION . Because the phone design is really very exclusive and Stylish . but still i will sale it soon
nk 8800 it just for looks and for shawing offff.... if you want a professional phone bye something else !
Their won't be a nokia 8800i
If you read the story booklet very closely, it describes that this phone will be a collector's item. You can see the signs ... it got full options in the box, it is low in stock and no other 8-series was that emotionally described/promoted
That's why the nokia 8800 will be the last exclusive nokia 8XXX series under their name. The next generation with special covers will appear under the 7-series. The exclusive business 8-series will be transferred to the Vertu brand, because of the future price-tag (+ 1000 euro) and the target-group which can afford AND APPRECIATE it. If the nokia 8800 was a low entry Vertu of 1500 euro's, it would be a best-seller!
I just gave the phone to carphone warehouse and they upgraded my software for free. and since the random shutting of has stopped. its much better now. i guess software improvement is done free of charge by any nokia care center
Koureas G i was wondering can you post a site where all this info is out i just want to real more about it thank you
As far as i know Nokia has already prepared a renewed version of 8800. The new Nokia 8800i will be different from the original device in colour, a 1.23 MP camera, stereo output and the presence of a memory card most probably microSD.As for the battery capacity which is a significant issue in every phone will increase slightly, which will keep the same battery life approximately as on 8800.This product may be expected a year after the Nokia 8800 sales started.
The above information depend on rumors but most likely to be real.
Considering the prevoius Nokia 8910i model which was an upgrade to 8910, 8910i had nothing better to give.
As an owner of both,i found 8910i be just a marketing trick for only sales profit increase purposes.
Keeping in mind that Nokia 8800 as i stated in my previous posts has very poor performance even inexistent, keypad isn't completely ergonomic, very short battery life,etc-etc,i believe that the renewed version of 8800 won't be better.
Offering many and new features without a quality won't be helpful.
So ,buyers thinking of buying Nokia 8800 series beware
Hi,just bought this expensive junk 2 days ago fully charged the battery and its has since shut down 4 times alrdy!!Realli regret!!
Well I asked in one of mobile phone retailer in London and he said, yes this phone really has battery problem and its rediculas, I wont buy till any next updated edition comes out in 88xx series
do u really need a extra battery....
do u really talk that much..........
cant you charge it frequently?......
has a better battery but will you actually go use it on your $1000 dollar phone when that battery is not even manufactured from the same company as your phone for all we know it can fucttttt the phone up which i doubt to try
Famous Japan composer made a melodies for it. Platform is made from titan. Kind of small, when u holding it. Cost like old car - unreal.
There are better batteries for 8800:
1000mAh Li-ion instead of 600mAh!
