The weight gives you feel that you are carrying something precious in your pocket not a cell phone with all junk features those are NOT supposed to be in a cell phone.
Personally, the weight what makes the phone more exclusive! If this phone only weights 70g, its gonna ruin its exclusivity..Just simply love the phone the way it is.
great phone,FIRST CLASS,brilliant design...feel proud having it...just that the weight is kinda annoying...i guess those ppl that giving bad comment on it,better go and have 1 before u say anything...xD!!!
Excellent, it's really a phone.
Why do you look for a phone with camera which is 2M max on the market? A Sony Cybershot 5M is still small.
Why do you look for music phone? A PM3 player 512Mb is still too small.
If you can pay for this phone. It is your CLASS in thousands of other phones.
I have to agree 100% with C me for the "If you don't like it, Don't buy it, but then don't Diss it" comment, and i'd also like to ask people who complain about the weight of the phone this... "Didn't you look at / hold the phone in the shop before you bought it"??
That's the weight of the phone, it's not going to magically get lighter on the way home. My suggestion is to ask to Hold the phone In The shop, and make sure that you are comfortable with the weight and feel of the buttons before you part with your cash.
Haha kaz i agree.....Ty, if you are going to tell tall stories, at least make them slightly believable. PS. Go the 8800. What other kind of phone can amuse people on GSMARENA message boards for hours with it's wacky antics. Nokia - connecting people (and then making them have go's at each other) bahaha
Ummmm are you sure you're talking about the 8800? as it CERTAINLY hasn't been on the market for the last 2 years.
Well, we can't see 8800 is used by someone but we can see a JUNKMALE is miss behaving with a phone, don't know whether its 8800 or 1100 :-)
Anyone can buy this 8800 phone in Thailand without any need to wait, for ONLY 27,000 Thai Baht; which equate to exactly US$660.!!!
PS. also included in the 8800 package is a
I've just got off the phone to my accessory guy and he has designed the most spectacular carrying pouch for my 8800, its made of leather from the hide of selected cows from Germany. Has high Quality stitching and has a 1/2 carat of diamonds that spell out 8 8 0 0 on the front. Frank is a legend guys!! It may have cost me $400 but i think as a lifestyle choice its worth it..
i've uploaded a pic of me with my 8800 at this address, check it out guys!!
OK don't buy it if you don't like it but do NOT say abything bad about it as well
As far as I can see, you can't assign different ringtones for different people messaging you, only for different types of messages, i.e sms / mms etc.
(Though I may be proved wrong)
I own this phone and i find it HILARIOUS how these fools are going around moaning about the phone. ill be honest i got it free as an upgrade with o2. but i have held and explored alot of the recent phones before deciding what to upgrade to as i was given an opportunity to upgrade to any phone due to the amount of money i spent on my phone bill.
this phone is beautiful, it also grows on you because you start to see tiny little features that you just wish were in other phones it kicked my 7610 & D500 out of the water and the style was amazing i couldnt stop cleaning it! its made to be a timeless masterpiece, think only when these handsets drop in value and are discontinued because of the scare of price, then will it become another classic.
its the best phone ive ever owned or used in a shop recently! its heavy solid and the glass is scratchproof! its quite small and honestly feels like something thats beyond a phone
also, can i just add that i dont care whether a phone has a fuckin megapixel camera in it to be honest.. i have a canon SLR! i use this phone to call and it captures small quick spur of the moment snapshots fine! in 800 x 600 on my pc and the quality of the colour and shot is alot more than you expect seriously!
so burn in babylon to the jankrows on here that say this phone is rubbish and overpriced! stop crying because its out of your reach!
I am using this phone and it's wow! it's very chic and hold like a charm in my hands. But I will guess for people with big fingers you might not like the small keys or you will need to use yours nails. Over all it the best looking high end phone on the market...Nokia is just the best!
O'l right, I'll try to make it easy in comparison to caller groups, as we assign a ring tone for caller group (e.g. friends, family etc). Here is my question now, can I do like this for SMS, like if I get an SMS from you and you are in my Friends group, am I able to get a different tone from you when you SMS me? And can I get different tone when my Father SMS and he is in my Family group, It’s like assigning SMS tones to different callers groups. I hope I’m not confusing you. Cheers!
