Tech you are right but 6310i really rocks and its very true mature technology, I'm looking for a new piece as I sold my last one :-( could anyone help me where can I have NEW 6310i???
this phone is NOT about funtionality ..its a fashion statememt- i like it--
ill wait untill it gets little more affordable or wait for 7 mega pixel
phone with zoom. which ever comes sooner..
i got an ipod n 5 mega pixel camera dont need it in my phone yet.
my current phone - 6100 and 6310i (the best phones in my view, mature technology,)
You think that the phone is great for fashion/showing off. Look at the memory, that wont keep the user happy very long. Mp3 player provided and good cam for low memory. How you going to save everything and keep it stylish?
Have you guys tried turning up the volume? My incoming volume was low also... until I turned it up. Now it's not any lower than any of my other previous phones...
My Nokia 6630 is somehow better that this 8800 in terms of its function & the camera & yet the 8800 is double the price of my 6630 which is SG$ 1589! That's crazy. I won't spend 1.5k on this type of phone. If it was for the N-Series perhaps I might consider about it.
My 6230i is more good than this phone and compare the price: 6230i:400$
this is a real bad habit from NOKIA
this phone is a junk if u compare to N-series
NOKIA always use us,fans, as a experiment whether we will buy phone will price $800+ or not
then Nokia use it to set the price for N-series...
those who buy 8800. too bad
9500/8800 there's a huge difference between them but if all ur after is the basics + mp3 then go the 8800 but keep in mind that it hasn't got a huge amount of mem for mp3s. i don't know but i'm assuming that the 9500 would be more equip for space but might not do mp3s (not sure)
y did u buy the 9300 in the first place????
was there a reason?
chances r if it's anything to do with email or pda kinda stuff then stick with the 9500 series otherwise change to 8800
good luck hope i helped
hello, i am interested to buy this phone in the comin days... can any1 advise me the advantage & disadvantage of this phone n if it worth to buy... One more thing is it gud to nuy the phone in HongKong? is it safe? Does any1 know the exact price in dubai of hongkong? Thx all.
i changing my 9300 i havent decide i get 8800 or 9500..wad u think?i recently use it to call,sms en listening to mp3 files..u think which 1 should i get?
and its heavy
and its terrible
uk outlets dont recommend it at all
sorry nokia better luck next time
Well done Mr. Nokia! You finally produced something which is useful for the people in countries which allow citizens to carry handguns with them. With this titanuim made phone, you can now block bullets which come in your way(unless you're quick enough).
Iam yet to find a retailer in Australia who has any stock to purchase. All say "next week" or still months away. Come on Nokia take off the TV ads until you have a product to available to purchase. I was very keen to purchase this model but having been waiting months for its release Im becoming anti Nokia and may now buy the Sony 750i !
If you are contemplating purchasing this phone you would be buying it for 2 reasons:
1) Aesthetic Appeal and Individuality (the look)
2) or...You dont need a phone with excessive amounts of features - Many of which you wouldnt use anyway...
Basically ladies and gentlemen this phone is for the fashion/style conscious.
You dont need anymore information.
Big disapointment....been a long wait..!!then what I got was a piece of chunk..!!the main disavantage of the phone is the sound quality..??I can't hardly hear the other party(got to put the phone again my ear but still can't hardly hear)and there's distortions as well..??secondly..the reception is very very poor..!!the old 7250 can even give me the better reception..!!took the phone back to Nokia and they said"that's the way the phone builded",nothing they can do about..??Paid more than AUD$1000.00 for the phone and waited for more than 2 months....I'm a complete Idiot..!!NO MORE EXPENSIVE NOKIA PHONES..!!learned from my lesson FOLKS....!!!
basically you are spending money on it's style..thats all.. if you are looking for interesting features.. go for n series..
is there any difference between the 8800 and the 8801 for america. If there isnt then why make another model?
