This phone is made for superficial Asians that think status is something achieved by the materials you possess.

Well it is really expensive, even the previous versions of 8800 is still expensive even though its not very functional,, just for the looks and style, it is commendable!

I have problem with capturing picture with my Carbon Arte & also my Sapphire Arte...after I press the shutter & had the picture taken, the phone just hang! I must turn off the one & restart again...Very frustrating! Anyone have the same problem? Anyway, Nokia phones do have a lot of problems nowadays(unlike the good old days)!

ti ian you say hey guys lol guys do you know english guys lol so your saying there is no ladys on here or in your talk girls lol you say this phone is made of the best things i dont think soooooooooo it only has about 2 persent carbon fact so it should not really be called nokia carbon should it it should say 98 persent steeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel fact again lol, i think if you read about the phone you will see it says made of little bits of carbon fact lol this phone is a piece of junk yes junk why dont you check it out check the price out for a carbon cover its not alot lol , and to the others in this forum the phone looks good i agree but come on 500 pounds more for the carbon than the arte thats for the case and a bit more memory i can back my words up with fact can you i dont think so , you say people cant afford it how do you know you dont know people in here you dont know me i dont need to work i have plenty but i dont say look at me i can affoerd it you all cant , and all my friends say the same about you people who talk like you probabley cant afford this phone but if you can you probabley pull your phone out in a bar and think people are looking at me thinking your rich when they are really thinking look at that pratt ive probabley given more to charity than you will ever earn in your lifetime fact i can prove this can you , people like you give people with money a bad name , if you have money do you have nokia vertue do you i do ive now had a total of 3 have you noooooo but i dont go out and pull my phone out and think look at me i like to just blend in , if i had a can of cola and 2 percent of it was cola the rest water can i call it water i dont think so , its the same for nokia this time they are misleading people they call it carbon but its 2 persent carbon rest steel yes steel take 1 apart if im wrong i will give 20000 pounds to a charity of your choice all fact so cut the tosh out by calling people in here guys you thing it sounds good guys guys lol guys cant stop laughing at that 1 you must think it sounds tough but nope it makes you sound a pratt , if you think the sales of this phone are good check it out you will find your wrong nokia brought that many 8800 s out now as they are not selling if the 8800 arte sold well they would not have ever bem a carbon brought out. my first 8850 was out for 5 years before a new 1 came out thats because it sold well good phone at the time . if you knew how much the nokia carbon cost to make you would cringe , this phone is not made of the best things fact so not worth the money the next 8800 should have top camera top spects thote wont be out on a phone for the next 2 years so guy or ian go bragg off some where else your facts are wrong . gsm arena why dont you do a review of what this phone is made of its junk it does nothing and people are already looking into nokia calling this phone carbon when its 2 percent carbon so its not made of the best things is it as a loyal nokia 8800 s fan i want the next 1 to have the best specs and materials we have been loyal we deserve it , and usually the 8800s sell well in moscow but this time people in moscow realised they are being taken for a ride by nokia fact i have it all here infront of me in print .

There was a problem in previous 8800 Arte reported by some owners which was loose glued plate on the back side of the earpiease, I was wondering if that issue has been repeated in Carbon Arte again? Thanks in advance for any reply.

Yes, titanium & carbon fibre are much lighter than steel. The carbon version still weighs the same as the other Arte models simply because, the carbon is just an add on & as for the titanium probably is titanium color coated. The body is still made of steel & thats the reason for the 150gm. If the complete phone is really made of carbon & titanium. Nokia would not be selling at this price.

shail, 17 Oct 2008will cost you around 850 pounds here in UK, n ya if you can't afford it, please don't blame it... moreDear Shail,

These kind of modles are expensive only because of it shows the simbol of status, even if you look at its mattel its very expensive which gives u value for the money. When company used to decide to manufactureing of these modles they never think that its being used by every individual. Its for class not for mass.

Just stop criticising the 8800 series. Is not meant for those people who want everything in a phone. Users of 8800 are not interested in 5 or 8mp camera, wifi, GPS & what have you. They just want a phone that can call out & receive call with a bit of style thrown in as well. Not forgetting they have the $$$$ to spend. So don't be envied. Work hard & save if you can't afford one.

will cost you around 850 pounds here in UK, n ya if you can't afford it, please don't blame it. there are lots of efforts to make such master model. it has saffire crystal glass which get used in luxury watches. have it in your hand once, if possible, roam around with it in crowd, n then you will not criticise. N one more thing only Nokia can dare to make something like this. its not made for ordinary people whos one three months salary is equal to cost of this.
