You halfwits that are complaining about the price don't deserve to own a masterpiece such as this.
This phone is for real people who want quality craftmenship not some piece of crap phone that is full of cheap wasted features.
This phone is worth every dollar because Nokia have used quality materials and provided a reasonable phone, feature wise.
Those of you who complain about this phone should go back to school and learn how to spell ( most of you can not spell ) and get a decent job ( washing windows in your trailer park is not a decent job ) so that you can afford such a phone instead of complaining because you can't afford it.

bottom line is, if you cant afford it, quit yappin. people will buy this phone regardless of what y'all think and say. you guys are just jealous of the people who can afford it. this is a 7 series beamer, and your phone is a corolla! lol!

Anonymous, 20 Aug 2008Carbon fibre is used in cars bcoz its light nd strng it increases the speed of the car comin... moredude.. heavy ph is nice to hold and has a great feel in ur hand. nokia can make this ph very light like their 3000 series.

Why would i buy this when i can buy 2 nokia n95 8gb for the same price as 1 nokia 8800 i have my nokia n95 8gb for 5 monthes and thinks its alot batter then the 8800 and know alot agree with me

There's always arguments with this type of phones, where people state boldy that it isn't the worth paying for the number of features it has etc etc.
I've had 8800, 8800 Sirocco, and yes they did not please me in terms of functions. I got bored of it rather too quick & had to change them. However, I do want to note that, I would want them back, because they are flawlessly made phones, wonderfully grafted & the design is timeless. It's a different class of phone all together from any other, and you cannot compare it with 'normal' feature-packed-media phones.

some people have money to burn and I would buy this phone if I was one of them. I hate having the same phone as everyone else. Wallpapers dont cut it. I dont see anything wrong with buying a stylish phone that no one else will have. That's the whole idea. phones with gemstones are a waste of money but these well engineered phones are worth it. Think of a cars with same features but one handles better and looks better. Dont bash what you cant afford if it is well built. To the guy who says thats too much for a phone with mediocre features, titanium and carbon fibrer are damn expensive. The series is called Arte for a reason; its not a media phone.

but it still weighs da same 150 grams of the arte nd sapphir arte!!!
