Anonymous, 28 Dec 2008this is getting stupid now how many 8800 series are there now, nokia is getting away with the ... moreif nokia is makin money out of these phones that implies that there are few, if not many who are buying these!!
@ nokia dont worry about these people's cheap comment. you know what? these people are poor :D
I work as a Sales Executive for a Telecommunications Company and I agree with the fact that these series may be quite "low-tech" compared to the latest technologies used on cellphones nowadays, but their structure is what I can really say tough... the glass resists scratching unless it was subjected to a rather inhumane handling... better than any other phone I've seen or handled.
k, 28 Dec 2008Great... another dodgy phone for the rich and infamous. the phone's so called scratch resistan... moreYou are lying. For two reasons:
1) first, the phone isn't available yet...
2) I work at a mobile phone shop, and the 8 series are not very good mobile phones in "mobile phone terms", but the construction is surely better than any other phone. You've said Sony Ericsson? May I remind you of the "excellent" quality of the W580i and W910i? Breaking keys... Got it? If you don't know what you're talking about, just don't talk at all!
is this set has 1000 no. pim entries (addressbook)means only 1000 numbers or 1000*5 (thats 5000) numbers total capacity...
can some one guide me...? thanks in advance
Just another basic good looking phone still using old technology!!
this is getting stupid now how many 8800 series are there now, nokia is getting away with the same design and making money from it it just gets to show you the consumer is crazy
it is that shame of de nokia did not make even a step ahet but i wuol like to have this cellphone e
Great... another dodgy phone for the rich and infamous. the phone's so called scratch resistant is crap, a customer brought one in, it was scratched to hell. Sony Ericsson phones have better screens than that.
18K gold... melt it down and use it as jewelery, better value.
heys...i love this phone..i think its more worth thn the gold sirocco..
cause the sirocco is more pathetic and do not have any usb connection..
this one is better.. thankgod they realise!
i think its good mobile from nokia
but i think that 8800 carbon loking better than this one
Hey You cant understand this style phones because this phone for just business mans .business mans are not looking for much property . they are looking for just design . this phones have best design.. thats why ......
It is a shame that nokia did not make even a step ahead for its luxury class of mobile through the yers - the 8TH series.
In the past when the first 2 phones were represented, they were spectacular - 8810 and 8850. Both of the models look better than all the new ones and that is the tragedy for the brand. I can not understand why ?
Come on designers make a luxury phone with some new shape, design or some eye-captive possibility. It is not fair about the customers.
these phones hav no good specifications but shape and glamour...who will wanna buy such expensive phone when there is no wifi and camera is 3.15mp only...Duhh!!! we can buy n series phone with wifi and at least 5 mp camera with even half of price of it...keep your eyes open while buying phone..this is just to show off other wise no cool thing in it.
