Typical phone for the people from the "eastern" part of the world that want the most expensive things (not neccessary the best in this case) for free.
Another thing that makes me laugh on here is when people say "You just slating it coz you cant afford it" Well, most people will either try and get it for free or if you do pay for it you are just sad. We just have better things to spend our money on, example is better clothes or cars, not a "shiny" phone which all the "eastern" people want!!
Sirocco is much more of a Designer Phone rather than your average cellphone with special edition tones and wallpaper with additional unique tweaks. It's a rather impressive and eye stoping phone. Get it if your wallet allows you to, you won't regret it.
the 8800 and 8801 are pretty much the same phone - the latter is just for the american markets and is apparently 1mm thicker (maybe because it has to hosue a different type of antenna?).
just got my hands on the Stylish Nokia 8800 Sirocco. amazing phone after using the 8800 this fone was just amazing cant compare any other phone with this the build quality the leather case everything is just perfect best fone by Nokia after 8800

Very exquisite phone by Nokia, for those who are not in the business field or fashion. Features are not as full comparded to N series because this is mainly a business oriented phone. Breath taking. Beautiful.
Its possibly the most expensive phone available untill now. But its got everything dude!!!. Can't see any reason to complain. If you have got the cash then its for you"
Did you ever saw Vertu phone features and prices? I dont think it so... lmao.
I think that this phone has a class design and i didn't expect this for a NOKIA phone so thumbs up for me
Using my Sirocco for 2months now, very good phone but It'd be better if Nokia adds memory card slot+Pop port connector.
To Nick, the different between Nokia 8800 and 8801 is the frequency(the housing is lightly different too:the 8801 is a bit fatter but a bit lighter than 8800/8800 is built a bit thicker),8801 supports Gsm 850 so it works better in the US,as Asian countries(VN)use Gsm 900/1800 then the reception is very weak(sometime no reception at all),I've used a 8801 in Australia(Gsm 900/1800) and had the same problem. That's why price of 8801 is much cheaper than 8800.Go for 8800 if you want to use it in Asia.
