Hello. I had this phone in 1999 and by 2003 I replaced it with 8910i and in 2005 I bought a new 8800. I remember well what era it was and what class it was. I still have all of them and they are in boxes and kept in the closet. I am Iran.

DX, 08 Feb 2019where does the sim card go on this? I just found my old one but don't see a slot for any sim.Very late to the replies here, but it might help others searching for an answer.
If you can't find a sim slot, then you probably have the 8860 which is the U.S. Digital PCS version of the 8810 which predates GSM in America. If your buttons say "talk" and "end" instead of red or green phone receivers, then it isn't a GSM version and you'll never be able to use it as those networks are gone.

Takes a large sim but minivans micro sim holders are available at any phone store .
