no dout one of the best phones i ever used..
its a classic nokia should consider makeing advance models of this design...
This is probably the best phone I've ever owned. Small, discreet, stylish, quick, easy to text with, especially with the tactile keys, the slider to hold it with and the Nokia T9 implementation for punctuation and extras. The cool blue light from the phone never bothered me in the car and never dazzled me at night and the display was always readable in daylight without having to light up the screen as we do now with modern colour screens.
This was phone was a masterpiece, genious. Everything was optimum.
Nokia are strong on marketing image and I always felt the 8850 said the right things about it's owner. As for the 8800, it just...hasn't got it. 8850 said 'smart'. 8800 talks more about itself, something like...'lead-lined gold-plated tea pot with 3 handles, buy me if you think you're rich enough'.
I own a Nokia 8850.. and its still going strong!
Ok it gets warm against your ear and after 10 text messages its full.
Ok and yeah its 8 years old... Someone still offered me 150 quid for this timeless classic!!!
the godfather of nokia !! what a phone love it ,
I've searched for this 8850 2yrs to find it in good shape and finally I bought it... This is not a mobile phone, this is LEGEND. There are no mobile phones, there is just 8850
How about the spare part incase there is problem
889 rulles on 1900Mhz!
does anybody know...wats the differents....form the 8890? i dont?
this is phone is the godfather off all phones what classic love it !!
wow great fone i can't explain my feelings about this fone... i really love nokia.8850... i need again supply in pakistan plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
What a classic phone. Just bought another, a new gold one. Looks brilliant.
You cant improve on this design.
Yes you can get Mp3,Mp4, bluetooth with all singing and dancing phones loaded with latest techno features, but for the over 40/s man, why?
It rings.
It sends txt messages.
It oozes class.
Its still the best looking phone around, and creates more visual interest than any other phone i have ever owned.
My teenage son now wants one, and his friends are also interested.
They are still available but becoming more rare.
Perhaps its now fasionable to go retro.
Its a Cool Phone with a capital Coo.
I THINK I WILL IMPORT ANOTHER INCASE THEY BECOME TO RARE.
i traded my motorola c261 for this phone. i am tired of mobile phones that look like toys. the plasticy feature sucks big time. nokia 8850 is the simplest elegant phone in the world which comes really handy. really great.
just bought one today suprisingly still found a brand new one..currently im usin 8800 but 8850 is amazing and a true collectors item.
i`m now with Sony Ericsson K700i but this phone is miserable, the joy pad is broken AGAIN and now i thinking abaout to buy this nokia .8850 have a unique form but i donqt know ...verry old no memory,no camera
Here in Bulgaria Nokia8850 cost 45$ seconhand of course.
I'm still using it. Best looking and small. I buy it year 2000 and still got no problem with it till now. So amazing!!
No doubt this is a very beautiful phone, but this is all in the past. The phones that nokia make now all look like bricks.
i am still using this phone, it one of the best design nokia had ever made. i wish nokia makes same design with features like 8800.
I brought this phone when it newly came out! its awesome design it still the best of all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
its so sexy, just bougt one off ebay in silver its a gangsta mobile its really wicked, wished it had bluetooth and color screen anyway goodbye
just brought secondhand one in very good condition, and as a phone freak having brought over a hundred in the last few years this phone is just the best in terms of form, the crome and light blue backlight will never be supased
