Anonymous, 14 Dec 2020mi 10t lite crushes this phone on specs. On perper
nokia should stick to adding gorilla glass to all thier phone, and more battery cap.
The discounts to sell this is unreal. Much like the Nokia 8. It's around 30% off now and probably going to increase further in future.

The rest is more like a same besides cpu, that is a downgrade. If you think huge is ok, well, why not?

Reason is the array is kinda making my... moreCan't you wait for 9.3 it will be better than this 8.3 ... just few months more. 8.3 has better overall camera against the 9. But in raw compression it's no where near the 9.. the 9.3 might combine both top camera to get one...I think it the reason behind the delay.. just my opinion.
Is it worth to upgrade to this Phone from the Nokia 9?
Reason is the array is kinda making my life harder for third party harder, since using snapchat or Office lens causes the danger that it might crash and reboot. It happens sadly more often then not.
I try to fix it but I do need a bigger battery and Screen would be a fine upgrade and heared the camera is also pretty good.
Nokia 8.3 is one of the best phone from nokia because it include better Ram and phone storage may future came same popular nokia again.
joe nodden, 01 Dec 2020Might as well get the Poco M3 for $129 if you're seriously considering this trash. Hmm...someone's effort means a trash to you.....just wish that no body will ever take your effort as trash...it's not the best product....we know that..but your words......is relly harsh....
joe nodden, 01 Dec 2020Might as well get the Poco M3 for $129 if you're seriously considering this trash. With that recomandation, and you call this device trash? If i were you i would try to wake up, as your percieve of reallity is at the fairytale level, at most.
joe nodden, 01 Dec 2020Might as well get the Poco M3 for $129 if you're seriously considering this trash. Well I own the Poco M2 Pro. Recently gifted the Poco M2 to one of my relatives. For $153, M2 Pro (6/64 GB) is a phenomenal device, it annihilates anything in its price range. And the almost zero add situation with Poco UI is a big plus. At-least till now.
But design approach & built quality are different from raw performance, M2 Pro cannot touch my Nokia 6.1 [$100, 4/64 GB] in those two aspects. However I do not know the current situation of Nokia in 2020. My M2 Pro is dual glass sandwich design with plastic frame. Same goes for Nokia 8.3. I assume in-hand feel will be more and less be the same.
Might as well get the Poco M3 for $129 if you're seriously considering this trash.
RishiGuru, 28 Nov 2020So, now you have got hold of this baby? Great. What are your initial impressions? The huge ... moreWell it is a big feller. I do not know if it's plastic or aluminium but i could understand why they might have cut on alu body, this thing is heavy, you feal it in your hands, but cheap feeling? No way. This thing feels more premium then 90% of the devices on the market right now. It is just Nokia written all over it. The camera is great, and the screen is super, also the color of it 's body just beats anything now on the market. Stunning device, really. I am just not so sure i could get used to it in my pocket. For a woman, it's dimensions won't be such a problem as most women do not carry their phones in their pockets, but to carry it in your pockets might be a bit wierd, at least at the beginning. I did not used it too much, so i can't tell to much about it.
Carol, 27 Nov 2020Yeah, it is a great device, the only thing that's not great about it, is it's hugeness. So, now you have got hold of this baby? Great. What are your initial impressions?
The huge screen is not much of an issue for me as on the flip side it will provide an immersive multimedia experience. I was going through some reviews of 8.3, some reviewers said the frame is made of cheap plastic rather that classy aluminum to save cost. I am unhappy as Nokia seem to cut corners here as my $100 Nokia 6.1 is even made of solid aluminum.
I am sad as due to market pressure it may be impossible for even Nokia to provide the same level of built quality we received from their 2018 lineup like Nokia 7 Plus & Nokia 6.1.
