You can keep yourself half way safe with an private dns filter and an on device kinda netblocker. With a dns filer you can block phones access to ip addresses. That means it can't connect to what you do not want it to connect, not because there is no internet, but because there is no resolved IP Address to connect to, with it you can also block ads inside apps. With the netblocker or so called firewall you can block access to internet per app. Their are more DNS filters, but the one i use is quite ok, not the fastest, but free and with great options. Nextdns, the app that blocks apps to reach internet out is called netguard. All of this is a bit complicated and takes a learning time to understand if you never read about networking, but when you understand how to properly use them, you are already 10 steps in front of most of the people. Keep in mind this soulution will not help for the fact that china device might have no support, especially the low costs ones, and might go "kaput" in a matter of Mounts.

So I request all to remove this negative mindset that all Chinese branded phones are bad. You don't like them, don't use them.
Nokia's philosophy isn't bad either. I like this Nokia 8.3. Maybe not its current price but surely its Nordic design. HMD Global from its very onset had an ambition to set new standards in phone design, material quality and manufacturing innovation by building on the hallmarks of a true Nokia phone experience. Both are unique in their own ways and its good to have both flavors as a customer be it Chinese or European brands.
Coming back to HMD Global, on their first year of production (2017) made some beautiful phones be it Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and latter the flagship Nokia 8. They went in a different route where built quality, design, aesthetics had a higher precedence over raw specs and performance. For unheard build quality they went for what Nokia calls "material first led design". In these phones there are no stamped metal parts for decoration (actively used by Chinese manufactures). The inherent strength of these Nokia's comes from carving out the phone for a single block of aluminum to start with. It takes an hour to mill out the whole body from the aluminum block. Finally a die cast metal mid-frame is screwed internally to the metal body which reinforces the core of the device. This used to give there phones unheard structural integrity & durability. This is an approach to engineering that is build to last. The phone body used to get polished for no less than 5 times for roughly 2 hours to provide this incredible satin like look and in-hand feel. A Scandinavian design focusing on quality, design & craftsmanship with an incredible attention to detail. Even though their 2017 batch had the quality, they lacked in performance when directly compared to Chinese counterparts as Nokia misjudged the current market trend and the phones did not sell well. In 2018, they bounced back and rectified this performance issue for their mid to higher end models and three models stood out. Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus & Nokia 6.1. These three phones had best of both worlds, built quality & performance. This trio is generally considered the best Nokia phones ever made under HMD banner. As openly admitted by Juho Sarvikas (CFO of HMD), Nokia 7 Plus is his favorite phone and as many believes the the best phone HMD ever made. Considering performance, design, built quality & price Nokia 7 Plus is the undisputed king in the entire HMD portfolio for its time frame.
However again due the very aggressive advertising budgets from Chinese & Korean manufactures, these phones did not sell well which led to huge price cuts. During this time I bought a Nokia 7 Plus (4/64GB, $360) for $165 and a Nokia 6.1 (4/64GB, $260) for $100. Both brand new from an online store. These huge price cuts forced by HMD over Foxxcon who were actually producing their phones in order to sell, resulted in huge losses in Foxxcon side, and they pulled out. This caused in huge instability at HMD as Foxxcon had the tools & the manufacturing expertise to create these hallmark phones. Hence, HMD's dream of continuing the hallmark "material first led design" unfortunately ended and were mostly confined between 2017 & 2018 models made by Foxxcon.
The current generation of Nokia phones (2019 onward) uses similar manufacturing techniques to any reputed Chinese brands. Cheap and cheerful with a Finnish design touch. This design is just what they have for now against Chinese brands. They now break as easily as any Chinese phones. The Nokia 8.3 as such is no different in terms of material, manufacturing technique to a similarly or even a lower priced Chinese branded phone. What currently sets the Nokia apart is the software. HMD does not have the money to design its own UI skin (old Nokia would have definitely done so to maintain its uniqueness). So the sales pitch is "pure" stock android (as much less expensive) with two Android software upgrades and and three years of security patches. My $150 "Chinese" Oppo F7 also provides the same software updates over the same tenure and comes with it own software overlay which uniquely distinguishes the phone to be an Oppo. Think what would have happened if all phones starts running stock Android. Its like there is just one color in the world: White. I hate this idea.
Having extensively used both my Nokia 7 Plus & 6.1 for over a year now, I have zero complaints. Instead both phones have an understated elegance, a beauty in simplicity and the no-nonsense design which arguably gives off a stylish vibe that's nowhere to be found on the Redmis, Pocos & Realmes. The same cannot be said for the current generation of Nokia's as they do not follow the "material first led design". However when its comes to the software, I have a love & hate relationship with stock Android on Nokia phones. The stock Android is good, but it does not have the level of customization and extra features which comes handy with other customized UIs. Like double tap to wake or sleep. Gesture navigation is very basic and options for customization is very limited.
The Chinese brand flagships have currently reached a level which is right there with Samsungs & LGs. You may laugh at a $100 all plastic Realme phone, but get hold of their $400 Realme X50 Pro and you are now entering a serious performance monster with built quality as good as a Samsung twice the price. So I humbly request all to stop this open hate and mud slinging currently going on between Chinese vs Nokia phones.

And yes, there have been chinese phone companies that straight up stole the user's data, they werent big brand phones though. There are some chinese brands that are quite reputable, such as the big chinese brands like Oneplus, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Realme. A couple of months ago i got for my mum the Xiaomi redmi note 9 pro, the battery life on that thing and price to performance is absolutely amazing, got her the 128gb variant for $200, i could've got her a cheaper phone but i wanted to make sure that the phone had ufs storage ( which can really affect the user experience), and this one does, if i recall correctly, it has ufs 2.1 storage, at the time i couldnt find a similarly priced phone with ufs storage, the others had emmc storage and also had lower end chipsets.
Redmi K30 5g has 120hz display with lower price and same specs.

it might be impossible for me to buy this phone right now. but can someone help on which low end phone should I buy from nokia. i got 4.2 and 5.1 plus. idk which one is better but currently, in my country, the nokia selling is going well smoothly. reason is my country is full of Chinese phones brand. and as I said before in the comment that I don't really trust Chinese phones.
Looking for a new phone. I just want ask them if this "Polar night" phone is able to make aurora lights pictures?) if YES I am buying it!
I am working in Arctic and very soon Polar night will start with amaizing Aurora lights. Non of the phones are able to give a good quality pictures (except one Chinese brand).

It is actually sad to see impertinents commenting daily in gsmarena comments sections, that is what sad is. I already said 3 times, i have internet, i do quite a lot of research before buying something. And i buy what i want, not what others buy or think it is good, 90% of them have 0 knowlege about technology. I also have principles, a thing 80% of this world does not, so why would i, or anyone else, need your "opinion" or "recomandations" without once using any of Nokia devices? You gotta think really high of yourself to believe that you matter, come down of your horse, is not even their. As for the rest of your gibberish, it is called marketing and getting used too. People got used with exactly those 3 brands. In germany is the same, as this 3 brands dominated in Europe quite a while now, after Microsoft killed Nokia, but thats another sorry. Now you go read statistics of what others use, have fun, i don't remember anyone here stoping you.

Instead keep talking nonsense and get angry with other people who say things you don't like about Nokia maybe you should research why most Finnish themselves prefer phones from other brands.
FYI according to StatCounter (A web traffic analysis website based on Ireland) Samsung has 28.31% market share in Finland, Apple 25.85% and Huawei 23.29% while Nokia only 4% even Oneplus has more market share with 7.24%.
People with common sense will see the pros and cons of each product no matter what brand then they will choose the better product.
Which is probably one of the reasons why Finnish prefer phones from other brands because i believe a developed countries like Finland will have more educated people who are smart enough when choosing a products.

The only thing that will clear up the fact that you don't get it that i do not care about your "recomandations". We all have internet, you should try to use it too, and more for learning then trolling. I never lied with anything, i was refering to water resistance, as i assumed that is where your comment was going for. As for, amoled, i say it one more time: it is not better then IPS LCD not even close to better. You brought facts? What facts? Claiming that something is better then the other it means it is a fact? I bring you facts: Both screen Techonlogies have pros and cons and LCD's of today especially those implemented by Nokia have a LOT of pros. While the best quallity amoleds still burn in, are expensive and in the long run their light will fade into a more dull quallity. LCD panel might be known to eating more battery and to not to have deap colors, but that was a long time ago and those were the biggest complains about it, so... nothing deal breaking. Amoled panel is not better at battery saving when it comes to systems of today, yeah even with dark UI. It might be looking a bit prettier, for whom ever stares at his device 24/7 but contradictory to what is know about it's battery saving skills, in systems like iOS and Mac, Android or Windows it is not. Here amoleds are battery eating champions as the whole Panel is lighten up. For the panel to really save some battery, the UI has to be pich black so those pixels to actually be off, like windows phone once was. Everthing else will turn on the full panel, not much of a power saving... So yeah, why is the velvet better? Because of 40€ or whatever less? If you have an opinion it does not mean, your opinion has a point. And as we can all see, it does not. First research and learn, then come here to "say" your opinion. Till then, well the troll in you is trying hard.
