Anonymous, 20 Jun 2021Seriously HMD!!? 500$ for an IPS LCD, c'mon! I would have bought it if it was an AMOLED. Do you know something about Pure Display technology in Nokia 8.3?
Compare this phone side by side with an amoled panel screen phone, you'll know the difference.
Amoled panel colours are not natural but more saturated but Pure Display tech has natural colours.

Okay, to be honest, I like this phone's design, Zeiss partnership, and stock android, but it costs WAY too much for what it is. If it was around $350 or $450 instead, I personally think that it would fly.

NRGMKD, 10 Jun 2021Oh come on. 600 usd for this phone. Compared to Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, this phone is a toy. And... moreRedmi also runs on a massive pile of bloatware that is MIUI while most Nokias run on stock Android, I would consider other phones if they had completely stock Android OS.

Just picked up Nokia phone from Best Buy yesterday. I still have the Motorola Edge. The way Lenovo measures the Edge screen, as they all do is very misleading and the Edge phone is so skinny (width) that along with the useless rounded screen copied from Samsung I hated it. I should have sent it back. I have very small hands and I have no problem with the width. The Nokia has a very usable screen which I wish was slightly more wide but compared to the Edge is so far superior. The screen on the Nokia has far more usable real estate and is made of Sapphire Glass which is far more resistant to scratching. In total honesty the phone could have more memory up to 256 but the screen size was the deal breaker because it is an acceptable width. Both phones hardware wise are very good and I would say the Motorola does have more software features but the screen makes it a loser. I had e-mailed Nokia, HMD and expressed my thanks for such a great phone. They got right back to me. I had e-mailed Motorola numerous times, 4 times and they never got back to me. I will stay with Nokia!

Oh come on. 600 usd for this phone. Compared to Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, this phone is a toy. And Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is total beast in every term compared to this phone. I expected more from Nokia since they come back on the smart phone market. Only the name is Nokia, everything else is far far away from those Nokia phones that we used to know. Even Oukitel passed them in the global smart phone market.

Anonymous, 27 May 2021Obviously a phone with 3 times its price would be better, it's an unfair comparison. At i... moreI've got the Edge and it stinks. The screen is not wide enough and the rounded edges destroy the entire user experience. They are useless even when you do use them. I have just purchased my second Nokia 8.3 and it knocks the snot out of the Edge so I read a person called anonymous feels the Edge is a good phone? I wonder because my wife and I have them. In our opinion you can keep them and we will take the Nokia over the Edge any day. We unlike some actually have both. The Edge is nothing more than a highly priced back up phone. Nokia 8.3 is fantastic. We love it! Thank you!

Ajralves, 03 Jun 2021Idk if you're aware but ur Nokia phone is as Chinese as it gets... Nokia as everyone kno... moreWell, if by "anyone knows" you mean yourself, as your whole comment surrounds your baseless opinion that elaborates the meaning of nonsense, then yes, Nokia does not exist. If we come back to earth and do a small reseach we realise nokia never gone bankrupt as they always had their investments and innovations that also equals their income, in more places then just one "bawl". As for chinese, if you can't make a difference between manufacturing in china and chinese brand, then stay home, lock your doors and never do a comment anymore. Will make a lot of sense.

Nokia, in Android OS world, always late to adapt. That's why I really believe that Nokia will never get their glory days back. They launch tons of dumb phone. Even when the Era of slightly compact phone is coming, they instead making big phone that not easily use by one hand.
