Z, 06 Apr 2020Nokia definately can Dominate indian smartphone market as People will always prefer Nokia devi... moreI don't known about other countries but in India Samsung never made a genuinely good budget phone. With some of the best deceptive marketing malpractices Samsung dopes some Indians well known youtubers and reviewers and offer them money, gifts in return of raving reviews of their mediocre products. Currently one such youtuber made the confession.

Their flagships comes with low quality Exynos in India that are 20% down in CPU and GPU performance, lower quality image processing and more power consumption than Snapdragon counterparts sold elewhere. And Samsung charges the same price of their Exynos and Snapdragon variants.

I recently had the experience of using a mid-range device from Samsung, the M31. Why many claims it is a good budget device, sadly I don't understand. Roadside quality phone plastic body, phone creaks under slight bending force, mediocre camera, laggy Exynos SoC, crappy graphics and very color inaccurate amoled dim display whose auto brightness does not work.

The Realme and Xiaomi phones are way better at same price and makes much better phones.

Request all to stop hating Chinese phones as many have no idea or used one, and simple hate coz they are Chinese. This is wrong. They have improved so much, that no Samsung, Apple, Nokia or LG can challenge them upto 400 euro price range in our country.

At only 460 euros we have Realme x50 Pro which is a 5G smartphone complete with Snapdragon 865, Amoled display, glass sandwich premium metal body, good cameras, big battery, ultra fast charging and what not. We do not need an overpriced Nokia 9 here. Nokia known that very well and thats why they have not launched the Nokia 9 as no one will buy.

The main thing is that they need to charge reasonable for the device.. Most of Nokia devices are over priced and this is why people opt out for Chinese brands.. even Samsung have changed their strategy and Launching great devices for reasonable price in Indian market..

This device isn't really the best.. for the price it misses lots of features.. like OIS, an amoled display, Only 18 w fast charging while atleast 30w support should've been provided..18w Charger in the box is ok.. Also the base model should've been 6gb/128 gb instead of just 64 gb internal memory when it has hybrid sim slot. Also the design isn't that appealing to me.. HMD just tried to copy cheap Chinese design here.. Long story short : Typical HMD device with low features and high price..

The Note10+ for example was over 1150 euro here and now it can be yours for 'just' 830 euro. 320 euro price drop in only 6 months. Nokia phones and LG phones also drop quickly in price so it's always a good thing to wait a couple months.

Carol, 05 Apr 2020I highly doubt a 600€ device will drop under 200. Those devices you named were never this pric... moreAs on 4th April, 2018 Nokia India launched their 6.1 (4/64 GB version) at INR 19,000 (230 euros). After an year as on 20th June, 2019 I bought a spanking new Nokia 6.1 (4/64 GB version) from an online retailer at just INR 7,200 (88 euros). 62% price drop.

As I said before, in India if you wait for a year you are bound to get over 50% discount. The online retailers are a rage here, and all smartphones manufactures sell phones at much lower profit margins due to the ultra competitive market and play is volumes.

India is the second home for Chinese manufactures, so we are truly spoiled with awesome , ground breaking value for money devices like Redmi Note 8 Pro or Realme 6 at very cheap prices. And then their are flagships iQOO3 & Realme X2 Pro at very competitive prices.

Very recently I bought the two generation old flagship LG V30+ at unbelievable price of INR 11,700 (140 euros) where the launch price was INR 60,000 (720 euros). Heck at 150 euros we have so many options we do know which one to buy.

Nokia 9 is yet to be launched in India. Nokia is pulverized by Chinese manufacturers in India in price to performance ratio and we are spoiled of options. So our country is no more the primary target for Nokia. Maybe 3 months down the line they will launch the phone.

I am sure if you compare your phone camera with Nokia 9 PV camera in day light condition you will realize how realistic and true to the life colors with great amount of details and dynamic range Nokia phone captures then your huawei phone.
For night mode off-course you phone will shine as the Nokia phone didn't got update but on day light its very difficult to beat such a phone.
So as you said "Today, Huawei is superior to HMD in everything, absolutely everything" i need to say First compare this phone with your phone then comment over here.

Such is the level of cut throat competition among manufacturers. Wait for an year and 3 months price drops ovet 60%. Chip in a credit card you get additional 10% discount.

So if we the Indian customers are ready to wait we can have it for 200 euros in 2021. I bought my Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6.1 under such discounts.
