I bought this phone about 3 days back and have extensively used it. Having had all the classic qwerty phones (E-63, E-72, and E5-00), this phone cannot be compared in the league of the E series business phones, so the debate of "is it better the them" ends right here.
Compared to the Asha 302 and 303, the phone is very sluggish, and the design is basic, but any one looking for a phone, that is made with social apps in mind, I would recommend this as a secondary phone.
The phone does not have nokia PC suite support, so transferring your contacts from your old phone might be tricky.
The phone gave me a decent 27 hours of battery time from 100% charge to the battery dying: with the gprs service on for 23 hours, the wifi and the bluetooth were on for about 3 hours each, talked about 2 hours on the phone and listened to about 3 hours of music, not to mention the 250+ sms i sent out. so the battery life is decent.
the gprs experience was better then most of the nokia phones i have used, pages load faster, that is because to nokia express browser and has no issues with service connection of Facebook and whatsapp. one of the first nokia phones that lets you decide when to start or stop the gprs data when whatsapp is on. The problem with whatsapp on the e-series was that the program would never close, and gprs would constantly be on, draining the battery quickly.
the wifi on the device is pretty weak, you literally have to be with in 6 feet of a wifi access point to utilize the bandwidth offered.
the phone is sluggish at times, and the 64MB/32B ram and an undisclosed, Sub- 1Ghz ARM processor isn't very inspiring. The phone lacks proper multi tasking Features, the only two program you can use simultaneously while doing something else is Whatsapp and the music player. Speaking of the music player, it does not have a equalizer.
The 2 mega pixel camera is just good enough to be used for sending instant MMS quality pictures, so if your interested in a good camera buy your self a DSLR.
The screen size is just as large of the of the the E5-00 or E-72 but the low Pixel density shows signs of weakness as soon as you browse through a gallery of pictures taken on a 5M pixel camera or higher
the overall ergonomic features of the Asha 210 are similar to the nokia E5-00 and is a tad lighter then the phone. it does not seem cheap at first look and the candy colours are trendy.
The only reason to buy this phone would be yes, the IM, SMS and Whatsapp experience. on a phone this cheap, the 4 line qwerty is nearly similar to the E5-00, the feel of the keypad is good and texting is as fast as any other Business phone.
In a Nut shell, i would give the phone a 6.5/10, Buy the phone only if you are into texting and using whatsapp or FB. it would be a great secondary phone to have.
superb phone..for instant messaging especially...apps working is fabulous!!

this phone looks staning....i want to have a piece of it ..together with that asha 200 dual....nokia nice work folks
this phone has only 32mb ram so how is the performance, is it normal or slow?
Does nokia 210 support adobe flash lite as it is supported in nokia 200 and does it play video well or it play like nokia 200 without sound?
nokia 210 is a really nice social phone, like what else do you want in a low budget? whatsapp, facebook and twitter are the basic requirements of everybody which this phone has! ALTHOUGH you cant compare it with a blackberry or android or ios but its a good phone... i had a blackberry curve before i bought this phone, there is a huge difference in both of them but honestly its a good phone for teenagers... go for it
