Sameer, 03 Jul 2013Dear Nokia Asha, I really like this types of sets, Let me suggest a few options I hope you ... morehahaha - these are good suggestions. but this extensive feature set will come at a price - and as of today, if the Asha 210 costs about Rs.4.2K, your dream phone will cost no less than 12K. and this is why Nokia may not come up with such phones, because they are targetting the masses.... :)
Dear Nokia Asha,
I really like this types of sets, Let me suggest a few options I hope you will have a deep look into it,
1. Please put a high mega pixels, like 8 mp
2. please put a high size RAM like 512 or 1 GB
3. Please make the display screen a bit larger,
4. front camera,
and the options which a smart phone requires, if all these options are set I guarantee that most of the people will love to buy it,
Owesome nokia mobile WIFI but it's hasn'but it's hasn't been sale in my town..
Asha_Lover, 02 Jul 2013Did you have the phone? I feel very skeptic about this..I meant I bought the phone. And like I said it is a cheaper alternative than others out there in the market at the same price range. Small software performance lags should be fixable with future firmware and software updates.
tjeet, 01 Jul 2013Is this phone support we chat? Plz rplyAs far as the software availability, Wechat is available for Nokia Asha 303, 305, 306, 308, 309, 310 and 311.
hope they will update it soon
matrempit, 02 Jul 2013is it already in malaysia market?RM 239 from Nokia outlet. ie. The Curve.
I like qwerty keypads and it seems sony xperia pro was the last decent android phone with qwerty.
I bought this bcos I love the keypad.
But I realised that it cannot read my micro sd card from my android device. My phone contacts and photos etc. There is a lot of lag and it function so slowly.
I felt that I bought a piece of brick.
Overall I am quite disappointed
matrempit, 02 Jul 2013is it already in malaysia market?yup, it's available in Malaysia. I saw some units at Plaza Low Yat in Bukit Bintang last June 27, 2013. price is around 300-450 MYR
Had it for 2 days - Good Phone. If you just want to be connected with a WiFi then go for it. You can think of it as the super cheap version of blackberry. It has its limitations though e.g. no wechat yet or skype etc. Definitely better battery life than samsung galaxy star. This could be a better alternative than galaxy star given galaxy star's battery issues and low res. display.
Nokia should have added a required features to such awesome designed devices
features like: Reverse Internet connectivity to the device via computer with Ovi suite, Optical track-pad, 3mp cam, flashlight, Nokia maps, Symbian OS, color swappable cover & keyboard, most social app available in market support like WeChat, etc.
The device looks cool but the add-on whatsapp/facebook button just doesn't make a USP for the device. Yes, it will sell-off in the market but also make people realise these down-points soon!
Internet connectivity via computer to the device is what the Windows platform is providing & I believe is an awesome feature for any device existing in market.
Connectivity via phone consumes much data of the limited phone's dataplan. This upgrade / integtation in Ovi suite could change Nokia's game in the market & make it a top contender in the people's list of phones/brand-to-have list.
Anonymous, 29 Jun 2013can i use net by this mob through nokia pc suit?all Nokia smartphones have a Ovi suite compatibility & can connect to the Internet using data usage from ur cell phone. So u can browse ur computer by using internet via ur device connected to it.
