The phone's specifications are absolutely fine given the price tag.
It's good for someone who doesn't want to spend money changing phones every 3 months!
It's a user-friendly device and durable as well!
You can use it as a dongle/modem to connect your pc/laptop!
Keep it simple and you wouldn't have to bother for a couple of years!
After going through all its specs and after reading all the good & bad user opinions, I've finally decided to go for it. There are some shortcomings which you can come across in any device... however these shortcomings can be taken care of if you understand Technology! It's not rocket science! I'm gifting it to someone I love who is as simple as me!

Hello guys, i'm using this phone for about 7 months and i'm really enjoying using it. My phone's current software version is 14.53. I wanna update it via nokia care center. But the problem is that i didn't buy it from a nokia center, i bought it from a friend of mine, therefore, i don't have a warranty card. In this case, will nokia care update my phone's software for free? If not, how much will it cost?

can some pls suggest to me which network can connect to nokia and enable me update my firmware;bcos i av tried updating it with airtel nigeria,but each time i try updatin,it keeps on sayin no available software for update. As i post dz comment,i can authoritative state that my phone still runs the firmware that it came with. Which is somethin like 14:26. So any help regardin the networks in nigeria will be very much appreciated. Thanks a million!

Bt i wuld suggst u to take a backup of your data before you do it... N if possible update it at a nokia care centre.. Cuz incase the phone crashes while updating you would'nt be at fault... But its absolutely harmless.. I did it via phone.. N nw my current firmware version is 14.78..

I can do all the things I need to do, e-bay, facebook, e-mail, google etc. It has a decent enough camera and the battery life is amazing. Plus it's a Nokia. Buy this phone, it's a no brainer. It's not a top of the range, all singing, all dancing phone but it does the things I want, superbly. Hope this helps.

I've been using this phn for almst an year now and i'm vry happy with it.. But S40 is really outdated and this phone really needs an S60 update but maybe that won't be possible due to low ram... But the best part is that nokia is providing updates for this phone.. All bad that I can say about this phone is that sometimes it gets restarted all by itself.. The screen flashes and the phone restarts on its own.. But that has happend very few times over th year.. Above that evrythng is great.. Totally worth buying... And can any one pls tell me which is th latest version of software update available for this phone ??
I've previously update th phone once and the current version is 14.78..

when i bought the asha 302 some weeks ago, i have problem with the battery. It hardly last for a day, i had to charge it everytime.
The homescreen was on as well as the backlight set to full. When i updated the phone's software, i was able to adjust the backlight. Also, i deactivate the homescreen.
And since that time, the battery has become so strong and long-lasting. I don't miss out on anything again cos the batt is just reliable........try to update the software to be able to adjust the backlight and if possible also turn off the homescreen.
