High Speed, 30 Dec 2011How good is the battery compared to nokia x1-01's battery though x1-01 has no bluetooth and wi... moreI have an X1-01. It's battery time is simply UNBEATABLE.It can go on for about 5-10 days with light-medium usage. My bro's Asha303 lasts about 2-4 days, which is still superb.
I bought a graphite color Nokia Asha 303. I am disappointed with some aspects.
1. I can find no way to adjust the screen lock time settings. The screen turns off way too fast. Also, while the Nokia X3-02 had the feature where the screen stayed on all the time during a call so you could always monitor the call timer, I can find no way to get the Asha 303 to do this. The screen automatically shuts off and there is no way to stop it unless you keep pressing a button like the volume up button.
2. On the X3-02, when a call comes in, the Reject or Answer touch screen buttons immediately are on the screen. On the Asha 303, you must first press the Unlock button every time to then get to the Reject/Ignore button.
3. If you make a call, even using the onscreen dialpad, after you hit dial, you must first hit the Unlock button at the right side of the phone to then be able to hit the speakerphone button. Come on! What is Nokia thinking. This is so inefficient, and it is not the way their X3-02 Touchscreen phone works.
The Qwerty keypad buttons are really very small. Dialing using these buttons can be a bit problematic if one has a large thumb or fingers.
The screen is nice and menus are fast.
Speakerphone quality is lacking, with lots of vibration at higher volumes.
Camera is what you'd expect at 3.2 megapixels.
WiFi works fine.
With the screen size under 3 inches, you will not be doing too much surfing the Web with this phone. But, it is there if you need it, minus Adobe Flash, of course.
Overall, I do not recommend this phone for purchase.
Cantdecide, 30 Dec 2011Hello. I cant decide what phone will i buy. ASHA 303 is my number one choice. Do you think thi... morethe phone is great.it suits for a student like you.the camera even though is a 3.2MP it's good because of the EDOF(exteded depth of focus)the sound is great too.it's a stereo sound.specially when using the headset.
How good is the battery compared to nokia x1-01's battery though x1-01 has no bluetooth and wifi.
It would have been cool if this phone had Series 40 6th edition user interface of the Nokia 5330 phone but the default UI on it is also cool.
How loud is the loudspeaker when playing music, ringing tone and what of call clarity?
Is the touch screen good as capacitive screen?
What is the quality of the casing? Does it scratch too easily and quickly?
i bought this phone and its really great.. its not a smartphone but the touch and type feature works really great...
Hello. I cant decide what phone will i buy. ASHA 303 is my number one choice. Do you think this phone will worth it? Im a student.I love listening to music and taking pictures. Do you think this phone will suits me? Im just worried that the screen will have a defect easily. Do you think it will last for a couple of years? Thankyou.

wicked, 29 Dec 2011Hi, could you please explain technically what's the difference between the touch screen of Nok... moreC3-01 have RESISTIVE touch screen.
Asha 303 have CAPACITIVE touch screen.
C3-01 display glass work as flexible membrane => constant preassure can destroye touch layer (display not respond)
Asha 303 display have inflexible glass => touch layer react on capacity field of human body
NNN, 29 Dec 2011Very small possibility. This is another type of touch screen.Hi, could you please explain technically what's the difference between the touch screen of Nokia Asha 303 and C3-01? TIA
ifi, 29 Dec 2011plz someone tell me ,, will it b playing youtube or not yes play streaming
I think this phone is great but I'm just concern if this will be the same as the Nokia C3-01 touchscreen issue. I heard that after 2months the touch screen stops working for that model.
Is there a possibility that this phone will show same behaviour?
