I also faced same issue but it can be resolved by updationg new asha 305 software via your mobile itself. Now i can play youtube videos in my asha 305.

ATTENTION! New update has been released to Asha 305. Its V 5.92. Its time to update your phone and get new features and increased stability.
I have updated my phone and these are the changes I noticed:
1) You can now adjust brightness of screen. Setting is located under 'Lights'
2) Phone don't lose its internet connection now. It remains on until browser is closed. Earlier it was used to disconnect within 2 mins even if browsing but no new page load.
3) Lock screen is slightly improved. New text or missed call can be easily noticed now.
4) My phone is dark grey in color. Earlier it had Blue and Brown color themes installed but now they are replaced by Aqua and Green color. Both new themes look fresh and better than previous.
5) Improved version of Nokia maps, social email and chat clients.
6) Separate icons for Nokia nearby app, received files and homepage of operator wap site like airtel live etc.
7) Keyboard now highlights selection of lower and upper case letters with theme color so it can be easily noticed.
8) New app called Notifications though it doesn't show anything yet. Didn't show anything for me in 4 days of use. Maybe its in development.
9) Phone is much more stable now. Doesn't hang like before especially when new message, email or IM comes.
I might have missed few other improvements in new software but above things are what I found after using it for using 4-5 days.

pinki, 30 Nov 2012iam calling to call center Phone No. 59059 they replay Dial 1 for marathi, 2 for , englis... morewhile you are on a call, screen automatically locks. Press unlock button and in call screen appears on phone. there are options like mute, loudspeaker, hold, contacts, dialer and other options. click on dialer and number pad will appear so you can reply.

V5.92, version date 26.10.12,software size 3400kb via phone.
Feature added.
1.youtube playback supported
2.brightness control
3.warning given when volume is too loud.
4.battery backup improve.
5.new themes added.
OTHER FEATURE REMAIN SAME.
DOWNLOAD procedure:-
setting>phone>device update>download software.
NOTE- presently you can only update your nokia asha 305 over the air.(FOTA).not from nokia suite.
