it's a great phone from NOKIA and it's also great in that price range but there are something you might want to take into consideration before buying
-i'm experiencing occasional screen blinking and blackouts which mainly occurs when playing games , i don't know whether it's me or everyone else is experiencing the same
-it does not play any hd videos , may be due to low screen resolution , but 360p videos works fine and have great quality for those .
-the accelerometer function limits to certain menu systems .
-3.2mp camera does not give justice to photos taken which looks crappy when you zoom in and video recording is in 3gp format , but recorded videos have great quality considering other phones in the range , also it does not have auto focus which makes taking photos at close range a disaster .
- can't complain about touch it's far much better for 6k
-there are not much apps and games considering ios and android which is a pity that a phone with such great configuration does not have nothing much to work on which makes it unfit as a smartphone
-i really liked the design of menu systems and the widget menu screen , that's a great function
-loudspeaker is great
well , now it's upto you to get or ditch this phone

its good phone 'its have nice and big display' 1Gz's processer work fast 'it get EA games gift lots of game to dwonload , its an nice phone

if this phone can hang several times ( going by the comments of some users) with the simplest OS, spare a thought for android

crap design, wifi connection is a nightmare.
those who have updated with the new firmware please let me know whether the wifi connection bug is resolved or no...i had used 4 handsets and all the four of them was having problems.

it's a bad phone. very dull and unpleasant display quality.sometimes it hangs. go for micromax A87 ninja. it is far better than nokia asha 311 and costs 500rs less.amazing colors and display,sleek and has all the modern features like 3g,wlan,dual sim,1ghz processsor,4 inches screen,capacitive touch,android 2.3 gingerbread.specially the display is sooo good i can say even better than iphone 4s.

Review shows that Asha 311 has a bold battery. Anyway, after I have this device I am now experiencing regular battery drainage problems. My friends suggested to charge the device completely in OFF mode, once it completely drained, but all effort has a Zero result. I have to charge this in every six hours. Plz suggest me in good health other than visiting Nokia Store (I m fade up with this exp).
