[deleted post]no it does not support talking tom. however there s a talking cat app in the nokia store for this phone. but any1 wil find this app poor in content and graphics compared to talking tom

I bought this phone on 5th NOv. 2012. And i found it pretty awesome. I was planning to buy an android phone but as my budget is less so i didnt wanted to invest in the entry level android phones.. becoz as per my thinking if i want an android phone den i wud buy a higher version. um not saying abt jelly bean. but atleast Icecream sandwich. and above all.. all my frnd who bought entry level android phones r facing problems.. especially on battery back up.. so ultimately i chose Asha 311 and i am happy that i took the right decision. Its features are excellent and execpt 2 cons : firstly it sumtyms cant play youtube video and the speaker sound is as usual less that the other brands.. BUt syill i am very very happy to have
"NOT A FEATURE PHONE NOR A SMARTPHONE BUT A FEAT-SMART-PHONE" becoz its in between a feature phone and a smartphone Nokia Rocks \m/

This is not ASHA (meaning HOPE) but NIRASHA (meaning DISAPPOINTMENT)! There are so many bugs in the OS that it feels as though Nokia rushed these out without proper QC or testing. Even Micromax, Karbonn or Spice do not have the kind of silly bugs found in the Asha series phones. The biggest problem is with network connectivity - esp. on the 311. The recent update seem to have amplified the issues rather than resolving them. After having owned several Nokia models over a decade, I regretfully have to part ways with this brand. I might even go for a Micromax phone - which, despite being a re-branded Chinese phone, seem to be of much better quality than these overpriced NIRASHA series phones from Nokia. Nokia RIP!

Guys don't beleive in rumors, this is the best smartphone for entry level in low budget & also having good features to call as a entrylevel smartphone in also law budget & IF U HAVE SOME MORE MONEY IN POCKET THEN GO NOKIA 500 OR 603, U WILL NEVER REGRET TO BUY THEM,TRUST ME & ENJOY IT.

No android so very less apps. Can't see pdf files or read word files. Media player does not run wide variety of files. Bad battery backup. Biggest flaw is that you cannot make camera silent while taking pics. And sometimes qwerty keypad does not spread in horizontal position which make you sweat while typing . A average phone at reasonable price.

First of all don buy this mobile unless you're a Nokia lover
first the plus points:
1.compact and user friendly
2.scratch resistant corning gorilla glass
3.1 ghz processor
4.quite good price compared to other models at this specs(android not included)
Now the flaws:
1.phone freezes on the second day itself when connected to wi.fi
2.touch is average but good
reasons:1.general use of touch is excellent but when it comes to playing games or using full keypad it sucks a hell!(sorry Nokia)
3.i still cant believe that does it really have a 1 ghz processor?the reasons:
1.games start well but as it goes on it starts to stuck like hell..even while playing simple games like monopoly.etc
2.sometimes the phone just freezes and blacks out (mystery!):-P
4.wi.fi is horrible
reasons: i used it sitting next to the modem itself and it simply showed just 1 mbps link speed whereas on the other hand m also using micromax a75 where the link speed was 54 mbps :-/ strange ( i think its just for show-off)
while downloading the ea gift games the phone sucks at its peak (really! I mean really? I dono what Nokia really thinks of its loyal customers!just because you give a free stupid voucher)
thus conclusive: don really buy this and waste your money! Poor battery.poor wi.fi,poor qwerty use,over priced(in user side) and lame they don even have a call blacklist:-| but despite all the odds i hereby give 4/10 for Nokia asha
P.s: 3 things
1.don go blindly to buy just for the voucher its simply useless until an unless you're ready to spend some money from your own pocket
2.you can easily buy micromax ninja at the same price wit 4 inch screen plus the same specs of this dumb phone except for the corning glass or you can spend some three thousand bucks more to buy micromax a 110 dual core superphone which is the best budget superphone i would say
3.pls someone give me the address of the moron coming in the ad :-@
