Touch is excellent , gorilla screen , internet is fast , 1ghz processor so working experience is fast in this phone , the drawbacks are camera quality is okay , do not play HQ videos via youtube , the major limitation of this phone is that it works on s40 os so it only supports java games and it doesn't support sis files

Asha 311 s a s40 device packaged with a touch interface. It faces d same issues that al other s40 device face. Nokia should have installed s60 into dis device. Only then this could have been compared to low cost android devices.

I m using this phone for 2 months. Its excellent in this price range, great great touch, net speed is good, camera quality is good. And i can also watch live TV frm this without buffering if u hav a good conection. In short great phone in this price range

galaxy y is not good at all. Asha 311 is much better. Galaxy y's internate is very very slow..y's 3g speed is HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps. Slowest 3g. Bt nokia asha 311 have fast 3g connection with the speed of HSDPA, 14.4 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps.

for a "dumbphone" its specs are quite good.
Oh, by the way if you want to compare, pls do so but if you do, use the same type, dumbphone to dumbphone, smartphone to smartphone.
for its price, it is quite nice but if you want something more, just add a little more cash. But if you cant afford it, Asha 311 is a good choice especially for the people who are just into texting and music.
i have to admit, its style isnt what i expected it to be. it is more simplish and dull.
anyway its just a review, if you like it then go buy it, if not then don't simple as cake!

Just bought this phone a week ago and I say its good. One problem I encountered. Using nokia suite, I tried to update its firmware but after downloading the firmware, the screen displays "Internal error". It also said that the new firmware is not compatible with my phone. No luck in updating.
Anyone encountered the same? And any suggestion? Thanks in advance.

nokia asha 311:- do not good video player (Not a work next and previous option in video player), youtube play so bad, cemera sound do not off, Not a copy pest option and not a minimize option in this phone, so this phone so bad,
do not read pdf/doc file,
