all asha series is base in s40 platform in sybian OS (correct me if im wrong)
but its also suport basic multitasking (via hacking)

Wait for the review and stop saying 56k.
Asha 300/302/303 models have 256k display, so the new models will have 256k dyisplay too.

Brilliance, 29 Jul 2012Nokia Asha 311 is a great phone comparing to it's price... But still some important things are... more,its 256k colours.. don't expect too much for this phone because its for low-budget users.. yes it lacks autofocus & flash.. But no need for secondary cam, sliding keyboard?? its a mess for this design..
,if u dont like this phone buy a mid-ranged smartphone.

Nokia Asha 311 is a great phone comparing to it's price... But still some important things are missing there. They should have enriched it's display colour to 256k. We all expected dual sim availabablity in this phone. IT should have included a secondary camera, an auto focus camera with flash, & a sliding qwerty keypad for quick massaging. People can buy nokia phones like c5 which has better screen resolution, camera, secondary camera, upgraded OS etc if they invest few more money. Nokia should think about it & release an Asha phone including these expedients next time.
