Nice design, the only one corporation company which I would choose by design is Nokia. The worst design makes Samsung. But you know that world can't be without Samsung, because the technology is very good. LOL

It's amazing how a so called feature phone supports usb-on-the-go and my N9 doesn't.

It looks affordable and doesn't seem to lack a thing. Well done Nokia.

                                i had this suggestion,
for bar phones, it should run s40

for touch and type run smarterphone's OS (or maybe this new interface that was collaborated with S40)

for lowest low end touch screen run smarterphone or meltemi

for low end boundary phones run Symbian OS

for mid-range and High end run WP or MeeGo/Maemo harmattan

let the meego/maemo harmattan apps run to meltemi! since they are just the same!

i think meltemi is the newest version of maemo! since meego harmattan was the latest! and harmattan was base with the winds too so just maybe! :)

if WP8 will change what WP7/7.5 dont have like bluetooth transfer, Mass storage, and expandable memory i would be happy and stop blabbering! and at the very low cost! like the "cheap" android on the market right now! S40 is so dead when it comes to touch screen, multitasking, and apps availability!

it is still necessary to have your own OS on your own house! im really disappointed when you ditched symbian and upset when you announce to discontinue the meego project! but after hearing that there will be a meego lite for low end phones and will offer WAAY BETTER than S40 called meltemi, i was so happy. but im upset again about the news that you are abandoning the project again!

elop is just showing himself that he is really a MS dog! we all know that MS and linux (which the meego, maemo and meltemi are based) aren't friends. maybe thats why they will abandon something that is promising!

but it would be really good to got a back up OS and have an OS on your own! WP is a 3rd party OS! dont let MS buy you, nokia! maybe this is elop's plan! to let nokia sell itself to MS! wake up and stop this flopping!

Meego really is promising as it looks! so please give this meltemi a light! this new S40 interface looks nice but it wont compete on low end android! galaxy y and maybe other low end android will be dominating this part!

i've heard that smarterphone team is working on this new S40! which is really good! but atleast dont abort meltemi!

S40 still lacks some features! where is the document viewer?! atleast linux could have one! S40 still not that competitive!
